I've never seen him amp his strength beyond thing's strength on his own. He had to absorb a lot of energy from sun to amp himself to the point he was about to explode and went mad to destroy a moon and even then he had to release every bit of his energy alongside the impact.

amping as a term doesn't really make sense to me.

if you can only amp your strength so much, its not really amping, its more like simply using more of your power.

its like calling kaioken or ssj amping.

Its one thing to hate, its one thing to actually know about the character and debate with the actual feats and not the imaginary CBR level surfer. You're prolly one of the more knowledgeable posters (top 5-10 IMO, top 1-3 w/ regards to Superman) in here, but you gotta admit that you don't like Surfer much. 😛

It's very obvious with his comments. I don't like Superman or most of his fans but I still give credit where it's due.

If you disagree with Abhil, post some counter feats to prove him wrong, calling him names doesn't support your side any.

There's an excellent Surfer respect thread, he has a feat or two that are closer to Thor/Superman than Thing/Colossus most of the time.

I'm sorry but where did I call him any names? I won't be posting any scans but it seems rather obvious that the Surfer is stronger than the Thing. If anyone needs proof they can refer to the respect thread. There are several examples there.
