So the main complaint is how the writer is humanizing the character?

I don't want to go into other complains as it has already been addressed. But yes, I do like that they are humanizing him in ways the shouldn't

Humanizing a character isn't necessarily a problem. But even if he was a human character this story would still be plain bad. The real problem is that his character is not being used in any sort of dramatic or interesting way. He isn't driving the story, and there isn't much of a story anyway.

He's running around killing lizards and cutting a few people up for no real reason. He's apparently spending months locked in a battle of wits with the local rock apes just so he can cut a live one up. He runs around siring kids because he has no clue what else to do, then runs around and kills them because someone tells him to.

This far in there should be something more significant going on. So far he just seems to be going through the motions.

Well that's mostly the pacing. 😄

Well to be fair he's an Eternal who are descended from humans. So he is sort of human.

Strictly speaking, they're not descended from humans, as much as they are an offshoot of the hominid species from which modern humanity arose.

Well I mean descended from past humans, if you would call them humans. Either way, he's at least partially human.

He's not descended form past humans. As mentioned before, the Eternals/Deviants are offshoots from an ancient species of hominids from which humanity also eventually evolved.

Thanos would be as much partly human as Oliver the mutant chimpanzee is.

Thanos isn't supposed to be anything similar to humans. Not every villain has to be human. He's above these qualities.

He's biologically more human than Superman is

Your point?

Which still doesn't prove that he was descended from humans.

Because you know, Ultra-Humanite is biologically more human than Superman, and Ultra-Humanite didn't descend from humans.

Ultra-Humanite is human in an animal body.

Ultra-Humanite is a mutant ape with the mind of a human. Irrespective of which brain he's possessing at the time, he's still biologically more human than Superman.

Thanos is one of those villains I want to be like hanibal. I don't want to understand him or relate to him. I want him to be this force of evil and malice that has been hiding under your nose for ages who isn't relatable at all. Which is why I didn't like how they did a movie on Hannibal explaining why he is the way he is. When someone reaches a certain level of villainy, some details are better left to the imagination, the odds of being disappointed when you see them played out are going to be high regardless. Like what if they came out with an origin story on the Joker? Exposing every mystery of his past? IMO he wouldn't be half as terrifying as he is.

So Thanos blasted a hole in Death's head when he first gained energy projection...

Arise my Quan.

he blew a hole through a skeleton. big whoop.

He blew a whole in Death's Head dead body? I'm confused, which means give me scans or give me liberty (which is scans)

Can't wait for next issue. Always wanted to see in detail how it went down with his eternal peeps upon his return...

Oooooh and here I thought you meant the character Death's Head

Arise my Quan.

You do realize I love Thanos (myself) more than he (me) loves Mistress Death.
