The Amazing Spider-man 2 (2014)

I hoping that they do something different with the F4 reboot, I wouldn't mind seeing the Negative Zone.

^ As long as they TRY to stick to the source material then we won't get abominations like the Cloud Galactus. I mean jeez, did they really think making Galactus a cloud was going to look awesome or something?

I didn't mind Cloud G. I doubt a 100 foot dude with a weird helmet would have looked any cooler. I thought Cloud G worked.

😐

If people can accept Norse gods walking around in modern times or a Portal appearing in the sky with aliens flooding out or fire breathing people.......i know a different studio

i'm sure people will accept a 100 foot dude from outer space that's whats to devour planet.

I guess. Still had no problem with Cloud G though.

Galactus was done a disservice in FF2.

also, it's not like other movies haven't pulled off human giants before, not to mention the recent success of "Pacific Rim", and the likely success of the new 'Zilla movie being good examples to follow in terms of portraying giant beings.

I'm sure if they redo Galactus as a giant it'll work out fine. I just didn't have a problem with his cloud form. It was large enough to consume multiple planets, which is exactly what G-Dawg does.

Then again, I'm not really a comic reader, so it's understandable why I wouldn't be so upset.

Well they have done some awful things in the past, but I think with First Class and DOFP, and Apocalypse coming, Fox seems to be on the right tracks now. And with Josh Trank doing the FF reboot and Kinberg writing it, that should be Much Better now as well.

I hope! I would love to see some good stories out of a connection. I don't mind Marvel not owning everything because during Winter Solider, as good as it was, I found one thing on my mind....Other heroes exist and with something this big where are they? I mean even in the comics they don't always have cross over so I could understand this is a solo thing. im use to it but what about the general public? I feel the more heroes they connect the more crossovers will be expected. Also I read the rumors about Channing Tatum being interested in playing Gambit....

On a side note....does anyone know about the rights on Namor? Is that something that fox would have with the FF or is he a separate property?

I agree. I think the X-Men and FF are both such huge Universe's themselves, that I don't mind that being a separate Universe to the MCU. As long as Fox does a good job of it!

It's just a shame Spider-Man is all by himself with Sony. If not the Avengers then he should at least be having team up's with Wolverine or the Human Torch. But poor guy is destined to be a loner.

He's actually been in serious talks for the role.

Not sure. Could be in that grey area where both companies have the rights.. Like Quicksilver.

I did want Spider-Man to be an Avenger but Im content with him having a team up with Wolvie. Im not really a Wolverine fan but I always love it when they team up. As for Mr Tatum...ugghh Gambit is among my favorite characters so im not sure how I feel about that. I mean hes suppose to have that charm with the ladies but I just can't see Channing Tatum in the role.

I think Namor would be pretty awesome to connect to a cinematic universe so I hope someone has him and does something with him! Probably just wishful thinking.

Soo... anyone else watched it and liked it?

haha I enjoyed that! Sux about Namor though. I guess Universal could jump in and throw down a Namor movie....

I don't know what the hell Universal is doing with him, I know back in 2006 there were plans for a movie

imo they should just give them up.
