Spidey either way. His SS will help warn against the stare, but he knows what Gorgon is capable of thanks to his time with the Avengers. (Not to mention, Gorgon rarely uses the stare until well into a fight, which is a mistake against someone like Spidey.)

Gorgon showed that he can at least tank Spiderman's hits when Spidey kicked in the face when Gorgon was part of DA. I don't think Spidey is taking this easily.

Gorgon got smashed into the ground by a 20-30 foot Stonewall that was trying to kill him and he was just fine. Because this was just after he lopped off Yo-Yo's arms, despite her going a few hundred mph at the time.

Was that in Secret Warrior?

Yes, in Bendis' Secret Warriors. Not exactly smashed, more like sent flying by a shockwave... he got struck again after that, though.

Pretty impressive considering Stonewall was already superhuman w/o going giant mode. Gorgon kept fighting despite being at disadvantage.

He also got pwned by Iron Fist, but let's face it, there is no shame in that.

He didn't get pwned by Iron Fist, and he said that he was saving his fight for Wolverine also.

Then he got one shotted by Daredevil, but maybe it's because Bendis is to Daredevil what Morrison was to Batman

Bendis was only involved with the first story arc and then left it to Hickman.
