In any event, Danny did better then Logan and Elektra working together (Looking at Enemy of the State) in pure hth.... If you're not Superman, handicapping yourself against a high caliber opponent just makes you look dumb, and not baddass...

No. Wolverine stabbed Gorgon in the torso, who knows how many times (his arms are drawn in a blur repeatedly stabbing Gorgon in one of the panels) and Elektra got some licks in as well, before Gorgon laid them out. In all their encounters Wolverine landed first and outstruck Gorgon before he was overwhelmed, and unlike Danny, Wolverine actually landed devastating attacks. Danny was hit first, landed nothing of note, blocked a few attacks, and then was dead to rights before Daredevil showed up and hit Gorgon with the plot hammer.

Danny beat the shit out of Gorgon.

Daredevil almost got his head punched off when he got in the way.
