United States Military vs ALL HP wizards

Started by Silent Master58 pages

Because the scenario for this thread is that they are laying siege to LA and the movie shows us how they lay siege to an area. it's just too bad that their main siege tactic will leave them wide open to sniper fire.

Taking out the ministry of defense wasn't just bullying them it seemed he used strategy. When he assaulted a school with a magical protective barrier he showed up with an army. Fitting since Hogwarts had one. He was smart since he was winning.

He also doesn't want to destroy any magical folks he doesn't have to. He wanted Potter dead so against muggles he won't show restraint. He will annihilate them.

Winning doesn't make you smart.

And you're neglecting the sheer numbers and power the military has. On top of ground troops, they have vehicles with heavy weaponry, air support, etc....

And only a few wizards flew around. most stayed on the ground dueling it out. I bet a guy can shoot a wizard faster than he can cast a spell. Since bullets are faster than magic.

Are you seriously saying that I'm giving unfair advantage to the wizards by remvoing their CIS? LOL

Um no, bud. The Imperio in this thread is clearly just a means to an end to explain why everyone is fighting for Voldemort in this scenario. It was never my intent to use it to give the wizards CIS.

Again, your saying that removing the wizard's CIS is an unfair advantage. 😆

[/B]

You can't say they're under the Imperius Curse, then take away the main facet of the curse, which is that you're a puppet under the control of the person who cast it. "Yeah, they all got Imperio'd, but they're totally normal." It doesn't work that way.

You could have just said Voldemort won, period. But since they're under the Imperius Curse, they have to act like it.

Plus the rules say that the condition need to be set within the first few posts, midway through the second page can hardly be called "within the first few posts".

😆

I hope you realize how pathetic you sound, that you are fighting so much for the wizards to have CIS so they will lose here. I hope you understand how weak that sounds, that you have to bank entirely on the wizards being retarded in order to net their opponents a win. That has to be without a doubt the worst and most shameless argument I've ever seen on these forums 😂

Nice try, but CIS is part of their character, you're just trying to give them a better chance of winning because you realized that they need massive help.

BTW, removing CIS would be a bad idea anyway as that would allow the Army to drop a few thousand bombs and FAE's on LA.

They all gathered to attack the barrier. This is completely different. Voldemort also spared the opposition in his hunt for Harry. Acting as if they'd have the same approach is laughable.

Actually.........I can, and it does work that way, because I'm the OP, I want the conditions of the thread that way, and thus that's how it's going to be. Wizards don't get CIS, even from the Imperio

No they don't. Thread stipulations state that Imperio doesn't give the wizards CIS, even if it does in other scenarios

Please understand how weak your argument is that you are banking on the wizards being retarded in order to net them a loss.

Yeah. Bloodlusted military with no reason to hold back would just bomb the city where there's high concentrations of wizards. It's not nuking it technically so they could get away with it.

Voldemort has managed to Imperio every Wizard shown in the HP series, including Dumbledore, Moody, McGonagal, Harry, etc., and decides to lay siege to LA. President Obama calls in the military from Battle: Los Angeles, but they are not nuking the city. Can Riddle and his army overtake the city, or will the US military prevail ?

That's your OP. Nowhere does it state in any stipulations that Imperio doesn't affect the wizards like it normally does. If you wanted it that way, you should have stated it in the OP, not 3 pages later when you wanted the wizards to win.

Winning is the name of the game. To win also doesn't mean you're stupid either.

They have brooms as well. Kids let loose fiendfyre and look at the collateral damage it caused. Potter mages can hide and change shapes. This is going to be a merciless stomp. Look back at what a few death eaters easily did to the bride.

Dumbledore can set entire rooms on fire without even a wand present. I mean dear lord. They can also go into hiding with the muggles not being able to get to them.

They can apparate away. LOL. You are pretty biased. You also asked for futuristic weaponry.

If the military is forced to resort to nothing but airstrikes then the wizards win, as it means they've pwned all infantry units, including snipers.

I was being sarcastic. Saying if he was going to give the wizards unfair advantages( i.e. Not being under the full effects of the Imperius Curse), then give the army extra stuff too.

And why would they apparate? No one on the grounds knows they're about to get hit by a missile.

Why wouldn't they know ? They are going to have wizards in the sky.

Leaving the battlefield means they lose the match.

They go to another area of the battlefield.

And the jets are going to be thousands of feet higher than the wizards in the sky. And then all of a sudden a puff of smoke(the missile) is going to zoom past at almost the speed of sound and blow people up.

Okay, Lestov. So blatantly ignoring the rules that Master went and found to show you. You're still trying to say the wizards are somehow not affected by the Curse. Okay. Give the military some upgrades too.

The funniest part is they can create barriers to stop said missiles anyway. It's as if these guys didn't watch the films and are here to just say Hp lose. I wonder why it attracts such hatred. Pretty funny.

You also concede the army just accepts the casualties and cuts their losses due to superiority. You believe the Hp wizards crush the snipers since now you're saying they need an airstrike. Protective barrier. LOL.
