It will cross the Billion mark for sure. I mean it only needs to gross like an additional $200million to Wonder Woman's gross to achieve that feat.
The really impressive feat would be if it come close to Avengers number. But not even Zack thinks that will happen.
But WB should be happier with a good well received movie more than box office $$$$ As I keep saying a good/great movie will give them more $$$ in the future, and 2 back to back well received movies would do wonders for their future goodwill.
But WB seem to be too impatient to play the long game.

There was a style they [DC] were going for, an attempt to be different and look at things from a slightly different perspective, which hasn’t necessarily worked. Yes, it has made money but it has not been a critical success; it hasn’t given everyone that sensation which superheroes should give the viewer.

I just want a retconn on his earth parents. Superman is an all powered alien. But he’s also one of us, raised with Norman Rockwell esce morals in the heartland by good honest parents. Pa Kent taught Clark to always do the right thing. Always believe in the good in people. Never compromise when it comes to right and wrong. In the movie it’s ‘Clark, hide yourself, and don’t believe in Humanity, they’ll freak out.’ Man of Steel is like a Spiderman who never had Uncle Ben. You’ve taken a key aspect away.
It bites them in the ass in BVS. Batman thinks Superman is the All powerful Alien. The much mocked ‘Martha’ line is supposed to jar Bruce into realizing that Clark is also one of us, played baseball, skinned his knee and ran to his mama, Martha, to kiss it and make it better. This is why the same name of their moms should have worked. But since we never get morals from his parents, and infact they double down with Martha Kent’s ‘you don’t owe them anything’ line, none of it works.
Wonderwoman got it right. Now lets do a little retconning and give Cavill his shot to be a great Superman.
