Yeah, Supes is much better in his film bit more like how he is in the comics less trying to kill people.

That's great to hear. Because I actually think that Henry Cavill is a good casting choice, but the character itself has been off during his first two outings onscreen.

I am so shocked to hear that Superman is in this! Surprise Spoiler Shock of the Decade!

That's because it opened in every territory at once for the most part. After JL, the DCEU will be a 4 billion dollar franchise and there only on their 1st phase.

You're assuming it's going to be like Marvel and get bigger with each phase.

But you keep ignoring that Marvel built up goodwill throughout their first Phase, which paid them off massively by the time they got to Avengers.

DC/WB on the other hand have simply been using massive budgets to capitalize on Huge Names. They can carry on doing that and will keep making movies which gross in the region of $700 to $900 million, but no reason to think it's going to get much bigger based on just making more films.

Both Schmoes Know guys really enjoyed it:

As did Jeremy Jahns:

Seems like there are some major flaws but audiences will likely enjoy it.

One concern I have, which is a trend that apparently continues on into this film, is that all these movies

Spoiler:
end with a boss battle against a big, grey-looking bad guy, who is obscured by fire and smoke.
Haven't seen the film myself yet, but stuck that comment in spoiler tags in anyways, just in case someone feels it ruins something for them.

Score is currently worse than Man of Steel.

Tomatometer is 43%

So WB finally used their pull being part owner of Rotton Tomatoes to hide the score from the main page in order to sell more tickets lol.

Yup, that's what it sounds like.

Anyone with half a brain can tell from the trailers that it looks like utter garbage, though. 😂 Especially after BvS.

4 out of 5 films rated as Rotten. Ouch.

Its finally showing up....

Its going lower 😬

And the cgi is reportedly horrendous at certain parts. Oh DC. This might turn out to be the greatest film firefly has ever seen. I don't want this outright tanking at the box office though I don't believe that will happen. I want the dceu to continue for debating purposes.

The poster who said 1 billion was a lock might have to eat his words.

Firefly claimed it would make more than Avengers 1. Even Golgo and his obvious DC bias didn't go that far.

I dunno.....Im not saying that it will make a billion dollars but I would not be surprised. Suicide Squad, which was a terrible movie, made 745 million so anything is possible

Quanchi would do a better job with the DCEU than Snyder.

Sure he would have Superman lose to a cross-eyed paraplegic baby but it can't get any worse.

Catching this tomorrow with a friend
we're most likely gonna roast it on the ride home, lol

Like BvS before it, this should have been a lock for $1billion.

But with a Rotten score the WOM would have to be that much better for it to have decent legs.
