When it was at 36 sure it is.

Though still considered Rotten, 40-60 is in the range of “mixed” reviews.

Let’s hope it can stay in that range.

I'm tired of goddamn Batman movies.

This a billion times.

I agree that they should be focusing on other characters but DC enjoys being number two. They won't ever be ahead of the curve. Batman has a lot of fans but I've never been one of them.

You have a sense of self-respect, you can't be a Batman fan.

heres the thing about being a Batman fan; theres pre Nolan and Nolan post... those of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s are the ones that grew up with Batman at his coolest before everyone jumped on the bandwagon. We were there for the Burton highs and the Schummacher lows and we stuck with the guy because he was still killing it in the comics... I got no gripe with anyone who dislikes him because of DCs over exposure and over reliance on him because thats just microeconomics in action but he is one of the finest crafted characters in entertainment history and thats a fact jack

I like Batman as a character, But they're relying on him too much along with the animated movies too

couldn't even do a Justice League Dark animated movie without squeezing him into it somehow

anyway....

YouTube video

Batman will always have the Animated Series and a few comicbooks here and there to support himself as a legitimate character.

The rest of the media hasn't been exactly kind to his mythos.

So I take it both you guys are fed up of Spider-Man films as well? Given he's only like 1 behind on the number of solo films, but within a much smaller time frame.

One film is enough Batman for me to be forever fed up.

Spider-man? He's pretty much the basis for every quipping protagonist Marvel has been pushing down our throats for years. But guess what, fun character remains fun while dull character remains dull, despite films multiplying like cockroaches.

Ah so it’s the characterisation that you’re fed up of. Not the idea of having had “too many “ films.

I personally don’t want a “fun and quippy” Batman. Just like I wouldn’t want that from Daredevil or Punisher. Some characters should stick with a darker tone. Whilst characters like Spider-Man should definitely stay lighter and more fun.

This makes sense since Robtard is a huge Batman fan.

This is subjective and I've never cared for Batman. Ever. Or the Joker. **** them.

Unlike Daredevil and Punisher Batman is not meant to be a serious character in the proper sense, he's a bigger than life idea not unlike Superman, which is why he doesn't kill, follows a life of sacrifice and he is, without any shred of doubt, a functional crazy. People argue that MoS didn't get the character, but the same can be said about Batman... Every. Single. Time.

Punisher is a man in a one-man-war, Daredevil is both the Vigilante and the Lawyer while Batman is... Ninja scientist millionaire that dresses up kids to beat clowns. Is that the concept you expect me to take seriously?

Those clowns also beat those kids to death, so yeah.

In the movie world at least, he certainly works much better dealt with seriously and not hanging around with kids, but on the other hand not so dark that he's the psychotic killer he's been portrayed to be in BvS.

And that's certainly what the demand is for, given the mega popularity of the Nolan trilogy.

What's really been missing in the movies so far (for me) is the "world's greatest detective" which I'm looking forward to in Matt Reeve's version.

BruceSkywalker, come here 😄 Want to show you something...

Lol.....

Spoiler:

Batman: Maybe we should resurrect Superman
Everybody else: No his soul is probably gone, we might get another Doomsday
Batman: So it's settled, we're resurrecting Superman

That scene is apparently so bad, because a scene (or more) was deleted:

Thanks for dismissing the part of scientist/ninja/millionaire/detective which is exactly the crux of nonsensical upness that keeps Batman from being an honest character and makes him a glorified plot device... When badly written anyways.
