Justice League (2018)

its so disappointing to see this movie do this badly because it wasn't anywhere near what critics are saying about it; a proper RT score would be in at least the 70s and the clear interference from WB is a huge factor in this; had they allowed the move a proper runtime it'd be even better than it is now; make no mistake I see tons of people on social media and through WOM that absolutely adored this movie and it isn't a vocal minority either.

That's a bit negative.

That’s just fact. This was their Avengers and it’s the lowest grossing movie they’ve done. The exact opposite of how it was supposed to go down.

JL was the whole purpose of their “Shared Universe”. But the negativity of BvS, SS (and possibly MOS a bit)caught up with them.

Reboot or not, one things for sure, we won’t be seeing another JL movie anytime soon. And I also highly doubt anyone’s gonna green light that GLC idea anytime soon either.

I mean if you want a positive, at least this will force them to focus on solo films for a good long while now.

You said the shared universe was done. Or did you just mean team-up movies? I could see that, sure.

Meant the JL films (which is kind of the point of the shared Uni).

I'm just being harsh on Zack because he won't ever concede and would laugh at me when I said the demand for JL isn't really there yet, and called me idiotic for thinking Affleck is done despite his PR move at comic con earlier this year.

Honestly I see them carrying on (mainly due to Wonder Woman), but at a really slow pace. But the more solo movies the better IMO. I think the closest we'll get to a JL2 anytime soon will be Flashpoint.

If the WOM is that good we'll see it pick up later on.

Now that the movie's out they should start showing Superman in the marketing. That would certainly help.

Still though, people will look at the Reviews and RT score and be put off going.

true enough, but for every one bad comment about the movie in comment sections on articles reviews etc theres 5 that say they liked/loved the film... thats what I've seen so far anyways; like you say, not a good start at all but who knows what the full run will bring??

^ Maybe there was some big mishap where audiences didn't realize this was out yet, or just needed a bit of a break after watching Thor.

Will find out next weekend if this can pull a Wonder Woman type run. Of course Wonder Woman did have the backing of critics though, so that'd be a bit of a miracle in this instance.

Holiday weekend will really help the second week. They need a strong second weekend but Coco comes out as well.

Justice League is suffering from BvS

Yep, it's quite enjoyable.

He's supposedly clean now I am sure Golgo would rally the troops behind this decision. He'd keep a snake inside the bat suit and feed it kryptonite for the next time Superman gets any crazy ideas.

even in his advanced age and all phucked up from drugs i'm sure he would come in better shape than fatfleck

And Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad lives in its own world of terrible, if BvS was somewhat good JL would've still profitted from it despite SS's awfulness.

BvS totally destroys the premise of this film because they casted it hard as a prequel to JL. I know for a fact it killed the little interest I had in seeing MoS Kal in a team setting.

Don't lump SS with JL.

DCEU Batman was featured in that movie. Ben was even in the after credit scene. SS is part of the DCEU.

I know. That wasn't my point.

He has many problems and tbh isn't great in the role IMO. He's serviceable but being in shape isn't his natural state so cast the flawed man aside and move the **** on.

It is a part of the dceu. You claimed it banked so why do you ignore it now. It's seems your trolling isn't even consistent.
