I don't understand the RT bias against this film though.

Currently at 37%. I was rather underwhelmed with it, but its nowhere near that bad.

I don't think RT scores work the way you think they do.

its actually sitting 41% with a Average Rating: 5.3/10

but anyway i don't know why people so much faith into that site.

You're probably right.

At the same time, Jeremy Renner is not as cool as you think.

I personally don't, but many people seem to use it. Thinking about it now, I don't think the rating would deter many people from watching such a movie.

I actually liked Justice League quite a bit tbh. Better than Thor Ragnarok IMO

You have my sympathy.

I did feel like they glossed over the whole "Superman might become evil" bit from BvS. Looks like this was addressed better in the Snyder cut

Because they wanted the ignore BvS for the most part.

There was so many complaints about Superman being grim and dark and evil, that they didn’t want to go back into that too much, and wanted to quickly evolve the character into a more classic take on him.

It means 40% of Critics (or 4 out of 10) gave it a thumbs up. But the slight majority still didn’t like it.

The fan score is 81% though. For the most part you can’t trust fan scores, but it is much higher than it was for BvS. The audience cinemascore (more reliable) is a B+ which isn’t bad, and suggests the reactions are slightly on the positive side.

Yeah you have to read more into it with RT, Rather then base it off the percentage.

@Darth Thor: Quote function is working for some reason.

It seems like Snyder had a way to wrap up that whole Evil Supes thing and make it more than just a throw away point from BvS.

I know, but I think WB and Whedon Just wanted to get it out of the way.

Placidity is one of these DC fanatics who despite Warner owning the site believes there's a massive inherent bias against DC films. It can't be that he's the fanboy who always believes their stuff to be amazing it's the rest of the world actively against DC.

Forget the success of WW on RT because it hurts his retarded case.

Apparently this is a list of Snyder's deleted scenes:

https://superherotalksite.wordpress.com/2017/11/19/read-zack-snyders-version-and-all-deleted-scenes-of-justice-league/

Those scenes sound good on paper, but we ultimately don't know how well Snyder shot them & staged them.

I'm not a big fan of Snyder, but it seems once again the biggest problem for these DCEU movies is the lack of consensus at the executive level, which so many hands mucking the pot around and so the films become a tug of war.

The 3 hour extended version of B v S. wasn't perfect, but it was a great improvement over the theatrical version, in adding extra plot and character points to make it flow better. If they decided to commit to Snyder they should have let him have his longer version, despite losing extra screening time at the theatres. A better film should mean better word of mouth, and so better business.

Seems like Justice League will lose on it's second weekend to Disney/PIXAR's Coco. So much for Grace Randolph's argument that the film faces little competition in it's first few weeks. 🙄

Well...to be fair Grace Randolph is an idiot.

It’s only on 171million Domestic now, which is what it should have Easily earned Opening Weekend.

Honestly curious about how this is all going to move forward.

Either go make quality solo films or reboot in ten years.

Wonder Woman and Thor Ragnarok did not cost 300 million dollars to make plus another 200 million on marketing and probably another hundred million on distribution and who knows how many other Millions on merchandise ,etc

Oh my god...

I saw Justice League over the weekend, all the while praying that it wouldn't let me down...

It did...bigtime.

Snyder is a horrible, horrible, director...

This c0kk $ucker has ruined yet another DC movie...

Plot...all over the place.

Script writing...terrible.

Flash...wretch inducing...I want the REAL Barry Allen (from CW) dammit!!!!

Stephen Wolf...decent...better than Ares.

There were a hand full of cool scenes, but not enough to save the movie...

Shame on you Warner Brothers for keeping this dumb@ss on your payroll ruining your movies...

Snyder should be fired immediately and should not be allowed within 50 miles on any of your movies going forward...

It'll make 650-700 WW and probably make a small profit. That is still a disappointment, though.
