I have loved Thanos and marvel comics my entire life. I am a passionate fan but if you find these to be childish and silly why would you waste your time on a board where people champion fantasy. The perception of the dceu is awful. It's pure cringe and they have devalued their icons. They also foolishly killed Superman on his second film in which doesn't really build up caring about the film character before he's dead then here he's back. So many mistakes in these films. His Death and resurrection is from the source material.
Quan’s has a point, that it needed more films for the audience to “feel” his death.
But Firefly has a point as well, that if executed better you can feel it, like with Spock’s death and resurrection in Star Trek 2 & 3.
And before someone shouts “but Star Trek was a tv series first”, you could just watch the films and feel it. Heck you could just watch Star Trek 2 &3 and feel it. Don’t even need the first one.
