I was thinking DC would have some major announcements during Comic Con but they seem to be waiting for Justice League to come out before they make any decisions.

Such awful flavour text. Really, Whedon is doing rewrites but is keeping Snyder's tone? I seriously doubt that.
Still, I do see it as a good thing that Whedon is being brought in, so maybe it'll work out.

Probably just wording to be respectful of Snyder's circumstances.
But still I guess whatever few scenes Whedon puts in it will have to be consistent with the rest of the film.
On the other hand a few scenes can be all it takes to make a Meh film into a Good one.
