The New TEEN TITANS! (IC)

It had been a mostly quite night at Titans Tower, well as quite as a bunch of teens with super powers in a giant T could be, Athena and Matthew were in the common area with Matthew on the giant super computer and Athena reading a book on the couch. The two were almost never apart, even their rooms were next to each other but if anyone asked if they were going out they would both cringe and say hell no, they were just good friends almost like siblings. Athena peeks over her book to Matt just to check on on his progress with reactivating the security system under their control and also unlocking the rest of the rooms, as she expected the boy was goofing off again and downloading games. Athena levitated too Matt with surprising speed, "Two months! you have been working on that for two months and still show no progress on the system or opening the sealed rooms!" Athena roared. Matthew jumped from his seat and fell to the floor startled, "Oh my gawd! Must you levitate...at least give me a warning before you start screaming in my ear." the technopath started, "Anyways, this isn't like the other stuff I was able to hack into, who ever built this program was...actually good." Athena rested her hands on her hips and sighed, "maybe you should let Desmond or even me have look at it, maybe we'll find something you over looked." Matthew looked modified, "How dare you...I'm the BEST hacker slash technopath in this giant T." Matthew went back to work tapping at the key broad trying to find a solution, Athena smiles, "works every time..."

While Matthew is working suddenly the giant monitors flash alive and a giant map of the city appears with a red dot blooping at where a Star Industries would be. "Um...so I got that working," Matt says then starts pounding at the keys again. "It won't turn off!" he says trying to yell over the alarm. Athena looks at the screen then down at the keys and quickly taps the keys turning the alarm off. "Yeah, I was just about to do that..." Matt says embarrassed. Athena rolls her eyes and reads the monitor, "Actually I think this is a real," Athena says then presses a button activating speakers around the tower, "Titans trouble...I think."

Ashley sat there, curled up in the shadows with her back against the wall as she listened to the sound of clicking. It was unusually calming. She rolled her sucker around in her mouth with her tongue, enjoying the subtle flavor, as her bright blue eyes stared at the floor between her feet. Her arms were set upon her knees and her chin set on her arms. She seemed to be in her own little world.

She lifted her head slightly as the Clicking stopped and listened to the new sound of two people talking and arguing nearby. Again? She was starting to set her head back down when the Alarm blarred loudly, covering the noise of the bickering. Her eyes even looked to the ceiling above her as she brushed cords and wires away from her head as Athen came over the Comm "Titans trouble.. I think." Snow slowly pushed to her feet to emerge from her hidding spot. She was behind the Console! When did she get there!? Her eyes peered over the egde to Matthew as she spoke in her softess yet kind of creepy voice.

"What's going on?"

Asima had been around the new Titans for a while now and despite the tower not being fully operational yet she still found it fascinating. She was always eager to see what else they got working or just new things regarding it in general. She had been wandering around with Amir simply admiring things and talking to the large cat about the situation. As they walked they heard some sort if alarm going off but didn't pay much mind to it until they heard the call on the com which meant it was time for action. Since it was time to get to work she hopped on Amir's back as the jinn began to run through the halls into he ran into the room with everyone else and waited to here what was going on.

"Who do we have to save?" Asima asked in a somewhat excited voice.

Matthew felt his heart try to jump out of his throat as the blue haired girl popped out from behind the console, he should have been used to it by now since she does this all the time. "H-How long have you been there...and how did you get back there?" Matthew asked stumbling over his words. Athena didn't even look at the girl but kept her eyes on monitor, the alarm was still sounding off, "Matthew shut it down..." she said. Matthew shook his head and turned his attention back to the monitor then tapped a few buttons and muted the sound.

Athena noticed Asima enter the room, the summoner seem excited to get out and do good which almost put smile on her face. "Well it might be something but it could be nothing because I just turned the system on so I don't know..."Matthew said shyly. Athena looked at the tech confused, he was never like this with Katarina nor her so she might have been a bit envious but it passed quickly. "Anyways we should check just in case...Alright Titans, Lets go!" The front window slid down with a press of a button and Athena flew out of the window, little nano bots clawed out from Matthew's clothes covering his body, blue lights could be seen from under his feet and hands, he jumps out the window and quickly falls but seconds later a blue flame shot from his feet and hands allowing him to fly. He hovered outside the open window, "umm did you ladies need a ride or something?" he said forgetting if they could fly or something.

Katarina or Ghost leisurely walked through the hallways stopping only to put down security and that only took a fraction of a second, they were no match for her, the real challenge was going to be the titans and she was anticipating a fight with Athena, just the thought of it made her smile. It was easy enough for her to steal the gadget she was employed for and her powers made her a perfect thief and made most jobs almost to easy, "oh what how boring," she said before blinking behind a new guard before knocking him out.

Athena made it to the scene first and quickly flew through the building, there were men laying on the floor but the telepath could feel that they were all still alive. It didn't take her too long to find Katarina the trail of unconscious men lead her straight to her,"Katarina, what are you doing here?" Athena said genuinely surprised. Kat smirked, "The names Ghost now and your the telepath you tell me but we'll play a bit later, I wanna save you for last..." she said before teleporting out of the building and on to the roof, if Athena is here than her team was sure to follow.

Snow stared at Matthew a moment before she answered, " Awhile.." Her answer being Vague as usual. Her eyes shifted to Athena who didnt seem surprised that she was there. It was hard to take her by surprise being a Telepath. She probably knew she was there the whole time. Though thanks to her powers it was Extreamly unconfortable for anyone to get into her head like that.. even if she was okay with it. Her entire body was like ice and her skin was freezing. It would be no surprise that her mind was one big Ice Trap.

Her eyes slowly moved to Asima as she entered with her Jinn. Those things where always a mystery to her. She would sometimes find herself staring at the Jinn when ever they were in the room.. those creepy.. unblinking eyes of hers.

Snow finally moved from behind the console, taking care to not snag any wire and make the progress for the machine backtrack more or less. She watched as Athena jumped out of the window and flew off, then watched as Matthew was consumed by his little robots and flew out only to turn and ask if she needed a lift.

"I can manage" She said in her soft but blank tone.

She then flicked her wrists and both her hands became incased in frozen spikes. She began to throw them outwards into the open air where they stayed, hovering like stepping stones. She jumped out of the Tower, hopping from Ice Pedestle to Pedestle, throwing out more as she went and followed after Athena.

Having seen the building Athena went into, though quite some yards behind, Snow followed into the building, going by foot now and as per her usual disappearing within the building. Her Ice Pedestles having fell to the ground to shatter and quickly melt into what seemed to be water, which faded rapidly, without her to maintain them.

"No I'm fine, I can get there shortly. Just go ahead." Asima replied to Matthew, letting him go ahead and she recalled Amir back into the staff before twirling it around and bringing out Nas.

The Spider Jinn looked around for a moment before Asima got onto her back and commanded the Spider where to go, the jinn jumping right out the window. The large creature began to jump, web sling, and scales things to reach the destination, her nimble legs having much more agility then her size would let on. She moved fast enough to get there quickly but Nas was easily distracted causing her to be someone who was obviously end up last to arrive, having to devote time to make sure Nas didn't try to go hunting for pets or worse... for people. They'd arrive with no injuries this time, but likely after things were well under way.

"Well hello."
A quiet voice sounded behind Ghost. crouching down on the edge of the building's roof was a young man in black pants and a blue t-shirt. His blue eyes sparkled with humor, matching the smile he wore. He seemed perfectly at ease for someone who just building-hopped a ways across town. There was no sign of fatigue. The newest member of the Titans stood up straight, his eyes locked on Ghost.
Vex had been meditating in his room when the alarm went off. At firs the boy thought nothing of it, assuming that the tech was simply messing around with the system. When alarm failed to go off, however, Vex had been forced to leave his quiet place and venture out into the main room of the tower. One look told him everything. The window was open, and there was a building flashing on the big screen. Clearly, everyone had already left without him. Sighing. Vex took a running dive out the window. The strength of his jump carried him over to the nearest rooftop, and from there he had proceeded until he reached his destination. In truth, he had not expected a girl to appear on the roof the exact moment he arrived. This, evidently, was the target.
"Very flashy, for a thief," Vex commented, looking squarely at Ghost. "But I guess that doesn't matter. Are you going to surrender, or is this going to get ugly?" The young fighter seemed completely relaxed, but years of training ensured his preparation. His knees were slightly bent, his centre of gravity lowered.

Katarina turned around as the titan landed on the roof of Star Labs, the boy wasn't very tall but he easily towered over her standing only at 5'4 and she would admit he was on the hot side of appearance. Ghost smirked at the titans statement, wanna be heroes were always so cocky, "Oh no a titan please have mercy on my wicked soul!" she jest holding her hands up mocking a surrender. Kat burst into a laugh then blinked behind the titan delivering a round house kick to the back of the teen's neck.

"Well alright then," Tech said with a smile then followed above the summoner keeping pace with the spider djinn. Matthew had spent a very long time devolving his nano suit but he had finally finished it with only minor bugs that he could over look until he had some time to deal with them but for now it made a hell of a transportation. Matt made it to the building ready to help Vex but the moment he saw who the thief was he froze, he knew that Katarina had no interest in being a hero but he didn't know that he didn't think that she would try to steal from a high profile target.

Athena quickly made telepathic connection with her team save for Snow cause of her mental defense but the girl was with her so she could give direct information. ~Team, the thief is Katarina alias Ghost, power set is teleportation and and phase abilities, physical containment is pointless.~ she said out loud so Snow could also hear.

Snow was hiding as usual, under everyones noses. She was standing on an ice block she formed and was using it to hover just outside against the wall still able to hear what was going on. she heared Athena say loudly about the one they were fighting. So freezing her solid wouldnt work. and if the woman was a thief she would be agile, perhaps enough to easily avoid her spikes. She had a thought but it would have to count on Kat not Teleporting and just physically avoiding her attack. Even if she just Teleported the woman wouldnt be able to get to her since her ice block was just big enough for her feet. So why not?

The ground behind Kat, after she jumped to the roof, began to slowly ice over in a dangerously slippery way. Snow suddenly flew upwards infront of Kat, standing on one of her Ice blocks. Her hands erupted in spikes.

"Hey." She said in her monotone voice

Snow threw her hands out to the sides sending spikes down to the exact spot Kat stood and a few to her left and right in an attempt to make her jump backwards to slip on the ice. To add to it she swirled her arms down and then up together, the air infront of her shimmering towards the spot where Kat would land and possibly slip if she did just jump backwards. This was just her freezing the air to below zero. It wouldnt hurt cause she didnt want to kill anyone, but it did tend to slow a person down. Even though a person can walk through walls their body temps could still be changed.

Kat notices the arrival of the new titan and before her attacked made contact with the boy, Ghost teleported out of dangers way but noticed that the other teen would be hit by the flurry of attacks. Kat appeared behind Snow with her legs wrapped around the girls waist and sitting on her piggy back style. "Hey...have fun with that," she said mimicking Snow's voice and placed a device that was counting down on the girl then quickly flashed away before the titan could react and appeared back on the building safely away from the titans, she still felt like playing.

Vex noted quickly that this thief named Ghost was much faster than himself, even without teleporting. It was however probably a good thing for her that her roundhouse had not landed. The impact might have broken her leg.
Vex held up a protective arm, and the ice shards Snow had launched bounced off it like they were made of rubber and foam. He jumped out to his floating teammate, through the shimmering wall of frost, and ripped the device off her back. With a flick of the wrist it was sent, still counting, high into the sky. He angled himself back towards the roof, but missed. Driving his foot into the wall, he stepped himself back up to the top.
"Try to be more careful, would you?" Vex said gruffly to Snow, shaking off the feeling of cold. He lowered his voice, so Ghost would not be able to hear, "I only need one solid hit. I can bring her down, but I need to be able to catch her. Can you try to slow her down?"

Oliver Sabel was having a boring day at work as usual. While it looked good on a resume and sounded fun when spoken about, Star Labs was a yawn. Maybe the job is boring because I'm just a secretary, he thought to himself. And he was almost certain that was the case because his father always fame home from work gushing about some new computer system or some piece of hi-tech equipment that seemed to defy the natural Laws of Physics. He knew that there was some awesome things that went down at his place of employment, but being just a lowly receptionist didn't afford Olli he perks of going to the "off limits" or security clearance levels of the laboratory. He was to sit at the desk, greet people and give directions or page someone when needed to.

So when he left his desk to go to the restroom near the end of the long, main hall, he was caught off guard by a security officer crashing into the wall in one of the side halls. And just like that, everything froze. The security guard, who was sliding down the wall a second earlier appeared to be stuck to the wall at an impossible angle with his face twisted in an painful and angry expression on his face. A loud alarm was sounding behind him in the other hall and lights were flashing, but in front of Olli, the entire scene was frozen.

Except one lady. She was surrounded by fallen, frozen guards" and wore a look of utter surprise on her face at what happened. She looked then at Olli and the young man felt his own expression of surprise and panic. Whenever Olli felt that way, everything around him stopped moving. He didn't know how to explain it or why it happened, but it did. Just like now. However, the woman in the middle of the hall was moving casually towards him. That took him by surprise because he had never seen anyone immune to his ability.

He was backing up as she walked towards him but just then, the entire hall unfroze and the sudden blaring of the alarm and the bright, flashing lights in the hall caught the woman off guard. It all happened within about seven seconds. His freezing power did have a time limit. But in the fraction of a second the woman was surprised by the alarms and light, Olli raced around the corner and out of the woman's sight. If he hadn't heard a new voice, he probably would have kept running.

He crept back toward the hall and anxiously peeked around the corner. He saw a young girl flying and barely heard them exchange a few words before the woman the flying girl called Katrina literally disappeared into thin air. This was his first time seeing something like this in person. Olli knew that there were others in the world with powers but he had never came in contact with anyone. Suddenly, he got extremely excited by the prospect of seeing how this whole thing would turn out but before he could say something to the flying girl, she was zooming back down the hall.

He raced after her and noticed that she was making her way up to the roof.

Snow blinked as the guy jumped out, snagged the device from her back and then somehow managed to change direction midair, though he jumped straight out and should of fallen(!!!), and get back onto the building. She then looked to Ghost.

"She will just disapear if I try again."

As her last word leaves her mouth she floats downwards and then through a window to disapear into the building.

Ghost watched as the snow woman disappeared, she couldn't blame her though after that joke bomb she placed on her and her attack completely failing. Kat smirked at the male titan, "So it's just you and me again, huh?" Kat noticed that the snow woman's icicles just shattered when they made contact and she didn't want her bones to also shatter. "Your super durable aren't you and my kicks would be like a tap..." she starts to say mostly talking to herself, "but I bet I'm a lot fast then you and I doubt you could stop me from phasing through you and taking something you'd miss. So be a good boy and stand down." Katarina says matter-of-factly.

Athena made her way through the building flying up the large stair case heading to the roof when she noticed someone was following her, she stopped in mid air and not turning she addresses her pursuer, "It's dangerous ahead," she turned to the boy and paused for a second. "Your powers won't stop her but it might slow her down...processed if you want but it's at your own risk Oliver." Athena turned from the boy and continued out the stairway.

Snow made her way through the building, using her ice pedastle like a transport. She went up through the building until she was right under the area that Ghost and Vex were standing. Her ice wouldnt hurt him. So why not try something new? She put her hands upon the ceiling and began to freeze it with her own ice, coating it until it shined with the cold. Usually there would be a buffer between the ceiling and a roof so naturally this freezing wouldnt be felt by the two above. Tapping into the entire blanket of ice Snow then condensed it at certain points and with a push of her mind created hundreds of ice spikes shoot up through the buffer area and upwards through the roof of the entire area at the exact same time about two feet upwards. Vex wouldnt get hurt and since Ghost wouldnt have time to react since she speared all the spikes at the same time and at different angles it would be hard pressed to miss the woman with every single one.

She couldnt be sure if her attack had made any progress and she was already getting fatigued. Hopfully she got at least a foot to slow the woman down for the others cause she douted she could do that again.

Olli stopped dead in his tracks when the flying girl addressed him directly. She said it was dangerous ahead but basically gave him permission to follow. He could only assume that she was talking about the one called Kat. When she eyed him she also said that his power could help. How did she know about that, he thought to himself. He was side she wasn't in the hall when he froze it.

He didn't realize that he was heading back up the stairs until he heard g guy speaking. Making his way to the top of the stairs, he saw the heavy, metal door was closing and knew that the flying girl was already in the midst of the action. He ran to keep the door from slamming shut and peeked through the crack. He saw a slim boy racing towards a rather calm looking Kat. She was standing not too far from the front of the door. Olli noticed the determination on the boy's face and dove through the door, not wanting to be right there when the running boy collided with Kat.

He comically rolled behind a metal vent, bumping against it as he came out of the roll. He had nowhere near as graceful as he would have liked to be in that moment but figured no one was even paying attention to him. Just as he righted himself, the roof erupted in spikes. One shot right up between his legs and he pressed himself close against to vent behind him. The cold emanating from the spike told Olli that it was made of ice.

What the heck is going on, he thought to himself.

Katarina almost burst into a laugh if it weren't for the rumbling coming from under her feet making her look down to see that the roof had been frosted over. Shards of ice erupted just in front of her causing her to take a step back but the ice seemed to come randomly and she felt that her leg had been cut. With all the icicles Kat almost forgot about Vex but quickly remembered as the guy started to charge, there was no time to think, her body reacted by it self and flashed behind Vex where he had once stood. Another icicle had cut her this time in the arm, pissed off Ghost flashes again and appears on Vex's back, her arm id wrapped around his neck and her boots and knees dug into his back. "Game over kid," Ghost says as her arm sinks into the boys back, suddenly the door to the roof is slammed open and Katarina felt herself being thrown off Vex's back and off the roof before she could do any real damage to the titan.

Athena rushes over to the edge where Ghost flew over and looked down only to see nothing. Icicles shattered as they got close to Athena while she floated back to Vex, "are you injured?" She asked looking him over. ~enough Snow~ she said telepathicly ignoring the the massive headache that usually followed.

Snow flinched as a mental link was connected with her. As soon as the link was made a thick Ice Shell formed around her without even thinking to do so.

"Enough Snow." Said the pained voice.

The voice was usually pained since her powers didnt like it when others got into her head. But still, she knew who it was. The Ice Shell rose up and seemed to 'seep' into the frozen ceiling and then rise from the ice upon the roof. There it shattered leaving Snow standing there, her hair completly ice and her eyes a glowing white. However this image of her faded as quick as she had arose from the ice and she felt woozy, wobbling slightly.

" Are we done? "

"You might want to stand back," Vex told Athena. The young Titan's body heat was rising rapidly. Very soon he would erupt in flames. He turned his head towards Athena. "She's not going to stay away for long," he said to her. "If she comes back we had best be ready. She's not going to get another chance to hurt me like that again."
Indeed, having this thief's arm phase through his back was the first time Vex had experienced physical pain since he was little. Vex wanted revenge, but he doubted that even if he used his power to increase his speed, he would be able to catch Ghost. What to do, then? Athena may be able to come up with a plan to win, but could she do it in time?
