"I wasn't expecting it to be necessary," Red X said while brushing past the the girl. It was true, he didn't have an active tracking device. Not yet anyway. X's eyes narrowed as he took in the room with a careful eye. A lot of the equipment had superficial damage from Nova's assault, though others were outright slag. Somewhere in this mess was a trail, and he'd have to pick it up if he hoped to get the Xenothium ore he coveted. Tilting his head back, he leaped up and caught a torn rebar, using it to swing him up into the air. His arm reached out and slammed into the bottom rung of the catwalk, fist clenching tight and holding against his momentum before pulling him up. Swinging over the catwalk, he was now standing just above the where the fight had happened.

The change in vantage points gave him a clue, and without another word to Nova, X dropped to back to the ground and ran off through the warehouse. He knew she'd probably follow him, but every moment spent talking was giving Winchester more time to escape, and he wasn't about to lose his prize.

Nova crossed her arms and tilted her head back a bit, looking up at X while he stood over on the catwalk. Her foot began tapping -- the sound in a rhythm. Tap, Tap, Tap. The ground beneath her foot had a black mark left in it, the heat from her body being transferred into the ground itself. The heat... seemed to spread out. But it didn't overwhelm the ground, it was outlining something. The cool spots in the ground, the sections that were not hot like beneath her. She could feel the warmth, it gave her strength. She took a few steps to the nearby exit, though didn't leave. As she looked out into the streets, she tried to feel the heat from the fleeing man's exit.

Nova took a breath of the now hot air before looking back at X. As he dropped, she turned and followed after. She couldn't care less for the item that the man took; but he would be her lead to finding out what she needed to know. "So where are we going..?" she spoke with an authorative but curious tone.

"The machines are revolting," Olli shouted as he came out of a rolling dodge. "I KNEW something like the Terminator would happen one day. That idea didn't just pop into someone's mind."

He was deep in the midst of battle with what he assumed were cars brought to life. He and Christian heard the commotion while they were leaving the dump where they just fought the robo-dudes. People were screaming and running all over. The two super-powered teens decided to split up to cover more ground and help more people. Olli also knew that Matt would instantly "Titan up" when he got on the scene, so he didn't even bother to contact him. However, he noted that the animated vehicles didn't seem to be trying to attack them, exactly.

Instead, they were bent on destroying property fronts. He raced towards what used to be an F-150 that was tearing through an arcade. He flicked his hands at it and, as usual, the literal monster truck froze in it's place. Olli eased into the trashed arcade to see if there was anyone inside. He shouted out but got no response. A look of slight confusion crept across his face as he backed back out of the place.

A screaming, running woman grabbed his attention and he saw a rickety looking vehicle with sparks shooting out of the headlights clumsily swerving towards her. He was out of his freeze range to stop the car but found that it didn't matter because instead of attacking the woman, it swerved past her and started shooting sparks at another parked car. The could careless and simply ran the other way while still screaming at the top of her lungs.

The confused look on Olli's face grew more pronounced as he fumbled over what he should do. If these cars weren't attacking people, what were they trying to accomplish in destroying buildings?

Feeling the familiar sensation of ionizing air, the new Titan immediately started running from where he was standing. No sooner than he started running did a rather large bolt of electricity cascade on the very spot he was standing at just moments ago. The few animated cars around him were--in a way--minding their own business as they went about causing massive property damage. So Olli deduced that the bolt of electricity came from some other source. Now exactly who and where to find this source was another matter.

The very same screaming woman ran past him, tripping over a piece of debris and flat on her face.

"This is nuts. Where did all these... things come from?"

"I don't know, but it seems no one alive is intent on letting you have a normal day," Clive joked sarcastically as his green aura began to build mildly. "No matter," he said with a sigh. "We've got this." Clive bore his staff down fiercely, signalling the battle to begin. Athena wasted no time taking care of those behind him and then some, so Clive ascended vertically to the height of his weapon to kick down the nearest airborne drone into the crowd of them below before spinning momentously to slam his staff down on another one.

The duo were clearly the more powerful, but they still had numbers to worry about. Clive would try not to exhaust himself by overusing his green aura power. He focused instead on taking them down by more conventional means, which meant trading blows with all of them. He would occasionally take minor hits in the process, but this was nothing new to him. After a few minutes, their numbers began to noticeably deplete before the two. Clive took this opportunity to try being clever. He punted his staff into one of the drones, piercing its chest, and a green pulse quickly flashed over it as it flew back and bounced off the wall back to him. The drone had been rubberized as an effect.

Clive caught his staff with the drone hanging from it and quickly smirked, proud of himself for having learned a new trick. "Athena!" He called as he threw it at one distantly in front of Athena and rebounding his staff off of it, dividing it as it went airborne. Now that she had been provided with ammo, he figured Athena would know what to do next.

Athena picked up the debris of the fallen robotic men and and smashed it into the final droid causing an explosion. "That was underwhelming, though I'm a bit tired now." She says as she bends to pick up the head of disembodied robot man to examine it. As she straighten she heard the distinct sound of metal smashing into concrete, Athena looked up to see three new contenders, however these three looked to be more equipped. The three android were bigger then the others and instead of bladed arms they had swords on their waist and looked to have black samurai armor. "..." she says reaching for the armored androids and sending a pulse of energy at them. The androids stood still and as Athena's attack was about to hit a shield of light appeared before them and sparked as the telekinetic force made contact. The androids moved simultaneously as they drew their swords, " Clive, It seems we're going to have a bit of a problem with these three."

Austin was walking down the road with his head looking down thinking about what he should do. Should he join the titans and save people's lives, and start a new life? Or should he continue the search for his parents murderer? These ideas constantly came to mind and it frustrated him even more than he already was.

He then heard loud screaming from all directions, he looked up to see everyone running for their lives. He also saw what was chasing them "Is that suppose to be some kind of robotic T-'rex?" He said to himself. The monster than stopped 30 feet in front of him starring him down, it's as though it was confused on why Austin stood there while everyone else ran. The monster than made a charge at Austin showing its large metal teeth. "Step off transformer wannabe" Austin amped his arms and fist and caught the monsters mouth, his right hand was on its upper jaw while his left hand on the lower jaw. The monster struggled to get free but then Austin proceeded to rip it's jaws off. The monster was dripping oil from its mouth and started to take a few steps back retreating from a failed attack. The monster than swung its large tail only to have it caught by Austin, the monster struggled to get its tail lose but Austin started to fly upwards carrying the monster with it. The wind then started to go into a frenzy and began to slice the monster peace by peace.

After he finally destroyed it he looked over to see someone just standing there in the way of a rampaging robotic rhino, he was about to go help her until she stopped the thing with her bare hands and began to smash the crap out of hit with her bare hands. "This is the most messed up town I have ever been in." He saw a robotic gorilla come out of nowhere and smacked from behind with its fist. He quickly flew over there as fast as he could and was standing next to her as even more robotic creatures began to surround them. Austin looked at her "Any bright ideas?"

Faith picked up a man-hole cover as she found her feet again, "yeah...Rapid Star smash!" She said with vigor as she threw the cover like a disk, it flew through the air until it found its way in the chest of the gorilla machine. Faith turned then stomped her leg into the street causing a chunk of the asphalt to pop up and with a swift spinning back kick sent it into another bear-bot. The street chunk was caught as it stood on its hind legs, however, Faith was directly behind and tackled the beast machine and slammed it to the ground like a football player then jumped on its chest and begun to pull its machinery out from it.

"I can't shut these things off they are being shielded some how!" He exclaimed so the other could hear him as he blasted a metal monster in the face then rolling away from it as it almost fell on top of him They seemed to be programmed to destroy property, however, they also would defend themselves and the others if they were attacked and made Mat wonder if an evil insurance seller was behind this attack. This was bad, he wasn't able to contacted Athena and Clive with the comms. and they must have been out of range of Athena's telepathic link. Matt was brought back to the battle when a giant metal hand grabbed him and threw him, The Titan quickly stabilized and charged his cannon before firing on the thing that grabbed him, "Get your hands off me you damn dirty robot!" he yells not letting up on his cannon until a bolt of electricity struck him, his suit absorbed most of it however, Matt flash to the lightning that almost took him down for good. Matt discharged his own electric magnetic field readying for a godly lightning storm to strike him down again. "What the hell are you waiting for you coward!" he yelled at the top of his lungs now ignoring Olli and Christian.

Having been apparently unaware that Athena had basically cleared her side already, Clive lightly rubbed the back of his head, mildly embarrassed by providing Athena with what turned out to be an unneeded setup. No matter. It stood as evidence of her competence that she could handle herself. Though, he was never doubtful. He smiled softly and simply began to lift the bags Athena dropped by the end of his staff. No sooner than he did this, something else likely heavier touched down behind him. His expression was that of annoyance, equatable to a mild sigh. He slid the bags off his staff and turned around to see what wanted to bother them this time.

He was met with the sight of three obviously better prepared, more imposing androids. This was an already tired theme to him. Athena had her arm raised to answer to the front-most droid, so he concentrated his energy and back flip kicked his staff into the same one. However, both attacks were to no avail. Clive caught his deflected staff into a reverse aerial and was back at Athena's side.

"Clive, It seems we're going to have a bit of a problem with these three."

"Well, you did seem disappointed before," he said as he lightly tugged the openings of his jacket to readjust it. "Satisfied yet?" Clive inquired cheekily.

"We?" X remarked with a questioning tone, "What makes you think we need to be doing this together?" The synthesizer of his suit couldn't hide the bitter tone in the young man's voice, and he considered trying to lose the girl. Strongly considered. Instead, he took a breath and decided gather some information. "What're you doing chasing the Academy anyway? I figured you'd still be off hunting the ice queen."

Kyle began to get angry because he couldn't find a single titan so far. "Where are those bloody titans? Was I mislead? Was this for nothing?"

He shook the idea out of his head when he realized he had absorbed a lot of electricity and it was leaking out of him. He began to sigh "Well I hope Daniel is going through with his part of the plan. Its all a matter of time before we turn this town against them, eventually leading them to join us."

He saw an arcade and remembered him and Daniel competing constantly in Dance Dance Revolution. It brought a smile to his face as he entered the arcade still leaking tons of electricity. "Ah, the good old days. I remember going to arcades constantly with Daniel. Then after a whole day of fun and meeting so many nice people we would rob them all. Good times, good times." He eventually saw a Dance Dance Revolution game and got all excited until one of Daniel's stupid robots decided to smash it. "Well at least I know there still out there. Maybe when we go to a different town we should stop by an arcade and relax like the good old days."

He than heard a giant thud like one of Daniel's robots had just collapsed. "Could it be them!?!?" He quickly absorbed all the electricity around him and began to discharge it sending it in all directions and then he heard someone yell.

"What the hell are you waiting for you coward!"

He quickly ran towards the voice to see a blonde cosplayer. He thought it was a mistake at first but than he realized the boy was discharging an electric magnetic field. Kyle began to smile and walk towards the boy and took a bow. "My name is Kyle, Kyle Soonest. It is an honor to meet you."

(Meanwhile)

Daniel felt his creations being destroyed from all directions "Well at least these mutants aren't weak like the ones we usually fight. And judging by where my creations are being destroyed they seem quite numerous to." He then went through his part of the plan. He saw cops being attacked by his creations and preceded to completely demolish his own creations.

The police men thanked him and began to ask if he was a titan. He took this opportunity to set the plan in full motion. "Gentlemen I have terrible news, these titans that once protected you are the creators of these machines." The policemen looked confused and he could tell they weren't buying it. It was at this time however he had finished rewriting everyone's text messages and had the titans to blame in each one. He then released all the messages one by one.

Three of the cops phone buzzed and they pulled out their phones. "Apparently the titans had all communication devices on lockdown so no one could contact each other. My dear friend went to stop the titans from keeping everything on lockdown. And it looks like he succeeded."

The cops still looked like they didn't believe him until the three gasped. What one mesage had orginally said was Daddy were locked inside a building and the robots are about to break in! and he changed it to Daddy the robots are being lead by the titans. I saw them destroying stuff and hurting innocent people. Please stop them! There about to get us!

Every single message was changed into it having to be the titans fault. There were over a hundred messages changed and sent and he was still intercepting them and changing them.

The cops officially believed him and contacted every cop that the titans have gone rouge and then have every news reporter notified. One of the cops began to speak "we thank you for helping us save our town. We should have everything publicized in only a few minutes. Those titans aren't getting away with this."

Daniel smiled "I will continue to fight for as long as I can. I'll have to meet up with my friend if we're going to stand a chance." Daniel began to run away towards Kyle's location that was easier than I thought it was going to be.

Kyle began to smile and walk towards the boy and took a bow. "My name is Kyle, Kyle Soonest. It is an honor to meet you."

Matt turned to the new comer as he politely introduced himself, the guy looked to calm to be just another bystander and his scanner confirmed it as he was admitting a low electrical field like he did just standing idle, however, he wasn't the one from before that almost took his life and was able to calm down. "You have something to do with all this don't you, stop this now and we'll go easy on you." Matt said trying to reason with him.

Kyle gave a warm smile "Go easy on me? I'm just here to help. I swear the hospitality in this town is quite crappy." Kyle began to walk around the blonde cosplayer wandering what he should do. "I didn't catch your name? Are you usually hostile when people introduce themselves?" Kyle then decided to use his powers to activate a game "How bout a little game?"

Daniel continued towards Kyle's location. He continued to smash his creations every once in awhile to keep up his act. "Man we're farther apart than I had orginally thought. By now the cops probably have had everything broadcasted so now the titans should be on the run." He stopped for a moment and used his electronic brain to scan for Kyle by hacking into all the security cameras so that he could find him. After awhile he eventually located him. He saw him standing with somebody, Kyle had seemed pleased so it was probably a titan. "Ok got to hurry" he saw a Harley motorcycle left unattended and quickly got on. He used his power to activate it and drove off. "I should be there in no time."

Nova's eyebrow raised, her eyes keeping a careful sight on X. She was tempted to leash him. "What I do is my own business. You ruined my investigation, so I'm going with you no matter what you say until this is over." Nova didn't hide the resentment in her voice. There was a certain irritation at his words, bringing up Snow. It made the temperature around them increase. Her anger was reflected in the very heat in the air. Her feet picked up the pace to keep more by X's side.

Thinking about the goal, Nova couldn't help but wonder how things would play out now. Would X trade her over for his return? If he did, the pyro could easily take him out. She couldn't trust anyone... She tried that already. She raised her head to look at the masked man, before raising an eyebrow once more. "Why do you wear the mask?" She spoke inquisitively. "You couldn't possibly be such an influential figure that seeing your face would mean anything."

Christian

Deciding to leave the ACTUAL hero-ing to Olli and Matt, Christian was busy trying to calm a group of people who all seemed to be converging at City Hall. He could only use his tele-empathy on one person at a time so it was slow work. He started by calming the rather large and robust Mayor by transferring images of beautiful sunsets that emulated peace and tranquility from his mind to the man's. Once the jolly old fellow was relaxed, Christian then got him to help get everyone that was gathered into semi-order so they could go out and help in anyway they could.

Once that was all taken care of and he saw that everyone was going off in separate directions, he headed off to see what else he could do. A guy sped pass him on a motorcycle as he headed towards a group of looters trashing a jewelry store. He shook his head in disbelief. Apparently, some people thought they'd have a field day when chaos reigned down on the city. Not if I can help it, he thought as he made his way over to them.

"Mind if I ask what you guys are doing," he said with folded arms. "The city's being overran with killer cars and you all decided that you wanted a five-finger-discount on a couple pieces of jewelry? That's a pretty stupid idea." As if on cue, an animated Jeep crashed into the building right next to them.

"I rest my case," was all Christian needed to say before everyone dropped what they were stealing and ran to what he assumed was safety. As he was racing away to find someone else to help, the Jeep soon crashed into the jewelry store and began thrashing around.

Olli

While Matt was busy confronting the guy who was apparently behind all of this, Olli raced off to help a cop who was trying to keep the order not too far away from where he was. The crowd of people that were gathered were all talking so animatedly that Olli couldn't distinguish what they were all saying until he got closer.

"This is the Titan's fault! They probably were behind the last attack too!"

"I knew they were up to something when they randomly came back after disappearing 5 years ago. Who the hell are they anyways."

"I know! I'VE never heard of any of them."

"Yeah, where's Beast Boy and Robin? Who's Athena? And WHAT kind of name is 'Techno Shock?'"

"I say we call in the Justice League to see what's going on and who these new kids are."

"Yeah, call the Justice League!"

"People! People! I need you all to remain calm! We're trying to get a handle on this situation as we speak but first, we need to get the city safe. I need you all to try to make it back to your homes where you'll be safely out of harms way from these....creatures. So if you'll all just--"

"LOOK OUT," Olli shouted as another F-150 headed towards the group. Before anyone could react, the truck was frozen instantly in place. Debris was held in place in the air from the truck crashing through a fruit stand and mail box as it barreled towards the group of people. As one unit, the group all turned towards Olli as he ran towards them.

When he reached the group, one of the guys punched him causing him to fall back more so out of surprise rather than anything from the actual punch. The rest of the group stepped back and were actually looking afraid of him. "We don't need any wannabes stringing us along," Sir Punchy said while standing over him. "How about you take your little creations and get out of our city."

Olli was confused. He looked to the cop who simply stood there with a guilty and slightly discouraged expression on his face.

"Part and parcel to the whole Hero gig," X replied without missing a beat, "Just because someone shows their face around town doesn't mean they aren't hiding something" He turned his head to look at her for a moment, adding, "That includes you, Ember. I prefer to play my cards a bit closer to the chest, that's all." Whatever followup Nova might've had for X would've been cut short as he suddenly picked up his pace. Signs of the trail had been slowly thinning, but he'd still been able to pick it up. The fact that he no longer could meant two things: the most likely, the Dean had made it to his destination and the entrance was hidden. The other, Winchester had picked up on them following him and was hiding in the hopes they'd move by.

X clenched his fist as he scanned the walls for signs of disturbance, to block out thoughts of how simpler it would be if his suit was at full power, or he didn't have a psychotic firestarter pestering him. It came as a relief, then, when he saw an area of the alley they'd wound up in looking cleaner than it should have when compared to the rest of the garbage strewn walkway. Crouching down, he felt a depression on the ground, and second quick glance revealed behind the dumpster a switch. Without hesitating, he reached over and flipped the device, sending the ground beneath the two of them rumbling as the ground opened up, revealing a service elevator. X looked up at Nova, narrowing his eyes at the girl.
"Hmm...'Ladies first' doesn't really apply to you, does it?" he asked, hopping over the edge and disappearing into the elevator shaft as he added with a mirthless chuckle, "So I'll be taking the lead here. Enjoy the music on your way down." The elevator finished its upward motion and came to a stop just after his descent, blocking the entrance to the lower levels while it waited patiently to have its buttons pressed and begin its journey downwards...

Matt didn't understand the game this Kyle guy was playing but he was not interested,however before he could tell the guy to **** off he caught a glimpse of what was happening with Olli, the citizens that they just saved were turning on him and could see a crowd was starting to form around Olli. "What the hell is happening..." he said to himself before flying down landing next to the other titan.

"Hey what's going on, we're trying to save you!" Matt shouted.

The crowd shouted back and he could only pick up a few words...words that Athena would slap him for saying. The crowd was growing and becoming more uneasy. A rock was thrown hitting Matt on the side of the head he sank down and pressed his hand over the spot he was hit and could feel blood dripping from between his fingers, he hears the crowd yelling at them to leave the city and calling them phonies. They had to get out of here before the crowd begun to mob them, he grabbed Olli by the waist and held him tight before jetting off into the sky.

"Shit! What the hell was that about?" he says making sure not to drop Oliver. His head was pounding and blood was started to get into his eyes, he would have to land. Matt dropped down on to a build and let go of Olli and powered down his suit returning to his street clothes, he took his shirt off and pressed it against his head to stop the bleeding, it wasn't as bad as it looked but it still hurt like hell.

"I have no idea," was all Olli could manage as he massaged his jaw. "They just freaked out. Apparently, this and everything else that's been going on in the city is our fault according to the good people of Jump City. I wish you guys would have told me that before I signed up. I would have kept my job at Star Labs."

He walked over to the edge of the roof they landed on and peered over it. People were still running around like neaderthals and the very literal monster trucks were still thrashing about but the only thing that came to mind was the fact that the flew up here. Suddenly, an acute case of vertigo hit Olli and he stumbled back from the ledge. Some Titan.

"Who was that guy you were talking to? He looked far to suspicious to be innocent." He clumsily sat down up against one of the many vents. The cool metal against his back started to clear the vertigo. [i]I could have SWORN I had that whole 'afraid of flying thing' under control,[i] he thought to himself. Now if only he had an ice pack for his jaw.

"I have no idea," was all Olli could manage as he massaged his jaw. "They just freaked out. Apparently, this and everything else that's been going on in the city is our fault according to the good people of Jump City. I wish you guys would have told me that before I signed up. I would have kept my job at Star Labs."

"Yeah it was our super evil plan to ruin your life and trick you into joining our super villainy team," Matt said with a laugh put let out a whimper as his head began to throb. With his free hand he brought up a projection of his twitter to see if the communication lines were up... and just cause he hadn't checked it for a couple hours. #eviltitans was trending and thousands of comments were accusing them of wrecking the city.

"Who was that guy you were talking to? He looked far to suspicious to be innocent."

Matt sat next to Olli to show him what was going on, "What the heck man, we bust our butts and this is the thanks we get, that should be against the law or something..." he complains.

"Yeah that's what I thought too, he's electrokinetic like me and energy coming from those mechs is the same coming from that guy so he could be like me, but if he isn't there's most likely another controlling them...possibly a technopath...also like me." Matt sighed. "I can see how it would look like we are involved too, only thing is I'd never create something so ugly and clunking... whoever is behind this has no style." he said pouting and thinking of how he would destroy the city. He snaps back to this reality hearing the commotion below, "Oh yeah we still have to deal with that..." he says annoyed at the idea of helping those ungrateful punks. "I can't take control of the mechs cuz they are heavily shielded, probably by that Kyle guy but if I cause a massive voltage spike it could short them out, only problem is that doing something like that would probably shit on every electronic device in the city and we'll most likely get mobbed again... where the heck is Athena!" he shouted.

"Well, you [i]did seem disappointed before," he said as he lightly tugged the openings of his jacket to readjust it. "Satisfied yet?" Clive inquired cheekily.[/I]

"Never," Athena answered. The Titan balled her hand into a fist and punched forward followed by a powerful blast of telekinetic force that ripped up the asphalt as it traveled to this target, the android raised its sword in a blocking manner and effortlessly deflected the force into a nearby building. Looking astonished Athena says, "What the hell are these guys made of?" Two of the androids shift into attacking positions and advance slowly, it was almost as if they were waiting to be attacked again, while the third one just stood like a statue.

'We might have to get in their faces to find out,' Clive thought to himself, which Athena probably heard. "Which one do you want?"

"This one," Athena said as she engaged again on to closer one to her. She tried another telekinetic attack, however the droid shrugged it off again and swung for the titan, Athena shielded herself but was caught off guard by a swift kick and was sent flying away from Clive and onto the ground.

Meanwhile, Clive took off swiftly toward the remaining advancing droid with a hard spinning backwards strike with his staff that recoiled into an identical strike when deflected. Neither were successful, as Clive was then met with a heavy front kick to send him flying back into the wall. The android attempted to follow up with a horizontal swing going for his neck, but he seamlessly ducked under the strike into an inverted chopper kick to its head with a strike of his staff to the back of its knee for the counter. This merely caused the droid to stumble, but it was enough to give Clive a small window of breathing room.

The Droid that attacked Athena quickly followed and was met with a large chunk of asphalt and simply cut the debris in half then jumped onto Athena before she could get back to her feet and stomped down onto the chest of the titan. Athena gasped for air and grabbed the metal foot that threatened to cave in her lungs and tried to push it off but it would not budge, then with all the power she could gather she crushed the androids leg and quickly rolled away from it before it could bring it's sword down on her.

Clive quickly anticipated an incoming half of the asphalt projectile and destroyed it in mid-air before it could hit him, but this left him open for his opponent to lunge at him. Clive luckily transitioned from his defensive strike to narrowly redirect his enemy's blade, missing his head by only a couple of inches. As he held guard, he noticed the last automaton simply remaining idle, wondering to himself 'Why the hell's that one not doing anything?!' Seeking to take advantage of this, he breaks the struggle to launch his staff at the still android, which deflected it at an the predicted angle to hit the one closer to him in the back, dropping it to one knee. Clive then kicked the downed droid with a double backflip to launch himself up to catch his airborne staff, and he came back down into a hard vertical swing. The android blocked the heavy, resounding strike and forced Clive off as it rose to its feet, sending him backwards as he flipped into a landing.

Athena breathing heavily made it to her feet and found the one legged android again standing perfectly balanced, the titan was becoming increasingly annoyed with the artificial man and even more exhausted. The droid rose its sword to attack again and with its one leg jumped toward the titan. Athena knew if the fight dragged on any longer she would lose and gathered her remaining power and caught the droid in mid air and attempted to crush it, its armor fought back and tried to resist with its energy shield, however, Athena did not let up even when her head felt like it would explode or when blood started to gush from her nose, it wasn't strength she was showing but desperation, she knew if she failed to destroy the metal man with this attack it will get loose and finish her off. Athena let out a cry as she pushed herself even farther , the androids armor begun to spark as it began to fail and finally the sweet sound of crushing metal came, Athena's power faded and the remains of the droid crashed to the ground.

Athena collapsed to the ground hard and struggled to catch her breath and regretted using that much power, there were other ways of dealing with the android, other ways with out leaving her so vulnerable, however, her stupidity and lack of experience caused her to use brute force and she knew there would be consequences. The fighting wasn't over, she could hear Clive still going but she was too exhausted to help him or to even lift her head up to see how he was doing. "Stupid..." she whispered to herself.

Clive and the other android began to clash furiously, both deflecting every blow. Clive broke off to gain a few feet of distance to fire a blast of plasmatic aura-based energy at the droid, but it was caught by the force field and fired back at him. He batted his own power away which hilariously struck a stray mecha-beast, disintegrating it at the point of impact. He blocked as his opponent charged him, trying to resist buckling under the force of numerous heavy swings. He stood fanning his staff side-to-side to back his aggressor off, and he fluidly spun to block the next attack and come into a straight horizontal swing at its side. The robot caught his weapon and, with his free hand, answered with another swing to Clive's head. Luckily, he had enough aura to block it with his arm without losing it. However, taking hits comes at a cost to his energy, and he didn't need to keep taking more.

As Athena laid there powerless to even move she remembered there were three androids and suddenly felt the ground rumble, she struggled with her body and pushed herself onto her knees and saw a large semi truck sized mechanical monster crashing through the street straight towards her. "Damn it," she muttered as she realized she could do nothing to stop this new threat, however, before the metal construct could get near, the third android sliced it to pieces. Athena blinked in confusion, was it protecting me she thought and when it turned back to the fighting she realized it's true propose. "No not protecting me but the battle...its been sitting there watching this whole time...someone is watching us," she said to herself, becoming unsettled at the thought.

Clive noticed how the third droid made its way past him and towards Athena's position, but he didn't have the opportunity to observe it. With his blocking arm, he thrusted his palm into the droid's chest to force it back. He then struck his staff to the ground in front of him, sending a wave through the concrete towards the charging robot and causing it sink to the knees. He attempted to turn his attention on the other one to throw his staff in a straight trajectory, but he was interrupted when the one in front of him grabbed him by his left arm and attempted to slice him again. This broke Clive's momentary concentration and caused the staff to dispel mid-flight, but he still managed to catch the drone's sword arm this time.

Within seconds, an identical prehistorically-sized mech-beast came barreling towards them. Clive forced the blade out of the android's hand to impale the charging monster in the forehead, causing it to stumble and fall lifelessly, but with no reduction in its momentum. Clive gathered energy in his free hand and uprooted the asphalt on which the enormous monster slid to steer it into the drone, taking it out completely. Clive shook off the avulsed arm that still held onto his and turned his attention to the last android, only to notice that it was gone, and Athena was down.

This brought on a sudden sense of worry and urgency, so he rushed to Athena's side to check on her. It was evidently clear that she was badly injured, unable to even sufficiently support herself, so he gently raised her up and supported her with two careful arms. "Athena..." he exclaimed with detectable concern in his voice for his weakened partner.

Athena held on to Clive and wiped the blood from her nose, she must look really pathetic right now but she was in no position to complain, she could barely focus let alone walk by herself. "Yeah, I'll be okay..."she said to expel the other titans worry for her. Athena took out her communicator and checked if it was functioning again, thankfully it was since the telepathic link was down and out of range from the other titans. "Titans, report in..." She commanded trying not to sound weakened.

Kyle was more than aggravated when the mutant had left him, but had calmed down a little seeing the Mutant saving his friend. He began to chuckle to himself remembering when he had saved Daniel a couple years back. He went to crowd of people, who were still causing a riot "Disgusting little insects" he whispered to himself as he walked pass him.

He stopped when a man called him out and started yelling at him and even demanded that he turn himself in. Kyle was confused until he remembered he was also destroying part of the city when it all started. Kyle sighed heavily "You know, if you had kept your mouth shut you would had lived longer." Electricity began pouring out of his body and he aimed it at the crowd of people. He watched them one by one fall to the ground and continued walking away. "These humans are more than annoying."

(In some other part of the city)

Daniel was still riding the Harley motorcycle towards Kyle's location until he witnessed a fight go down between some titans and some unfamiliar robots. "Those aren't any of my robots" he began making his way towards the titans, after watching them in action.

He began screaming at them and saw one of his creations on a near by roof top about to pounce. He wasn't exactly worried until he saw that the titans were more injured than he had originally thought, he told his creation to stay low and wait for further instructions. He pulled up in front of them and smiled "You guys look like you could use some help."

Olli reached for his comm-device when Athena called out. "This is Olli checking in. Where are you?! There's literal monster trucks tearing up the city and people are blaming us. Plus Matt found another SUPER suspicious Meta Human. We could sure use your help. And where's Clive? This is sort of a lot to deal with right now."

Athena stuck her tongue out at the comm as if it was Olli himself and replies, "Clive is with me and we are aware of the monster truck monsters and the samurai androids...why not spartan androids... Anyways we're on our way." Athena took note of the Oliver's location on the comm-device and put hers back in her pocket. "Well I guess some how this is being pinned on us lets get to the others and see if we can help put an end to this..." she says to Clive still holding on to him for support.

He pulled up in front of them and smiled "You guys look like you could use some help."

Athena's attention turns to the boy on the bike and he seemed like a normal kid however, looking so normal during a siege on the city was a bit odd but she was too exhausted to put 2 and 2 together so she shrugged it off. "No, but you should get to safety, it's not safe out here for civilians..."she replied.

Faith destroyed the mechanical monsters before they could do anymore harm, however lost the boy that she was fighting along side. "Oh well, he looked like he could take care of himself...hopefully he was able to..." she says to herself. Faith took a look at herself in the reflection of a shattered window and noted that her clothes were torn to shreds and bloodied, however, she did not have a scratch on her. "Ha! It's gonna take a lot more then that to take the incredible Rapid Star down!" she said smiling at herself.

Daniel smiled at the injured girl "Trust me, your not the only ones who can take care of themselves." One of his creations was behind them and was about to attack he quickly rode the motorcycle to where it was and grabbed it before it could touch them. He began to lift it off the ground and ripped it in half.

He looked back towards the two titans and stuck his tongue out "Like I said, your not the only ones who can take care of themselves."

Kyle was still walking down the street searching for the Titans when he saw a mysterious girl smashing some of Daniels creations "Not bad" he said still a good distance away and began making his way towards her. He heard her say something about a boy and then heard her gloat about how awesome she is.

He finally made it near her "If your looking for someone maybe I can help?" he said noticing her tore up clothes and averting his eyes so he didn't look like a pervert "But could you please where some decent clothes?"

Clive was slightly irked by this kid's mild display of vainglory, especially with his seemingly disingenuous offer to help after the past fifteen or so minutes spent actually fighting, but his bother was fleeting seeing as it wasn't really worth his attention. Although, his mere presence was a mixed message to him. The kid spoke and acted confidently, but he felt unsure of himself. Still, this was of no concern at the moment since he had a wounded teammate, an overburdened team, and an endangered city that could use what little help he had to offer, and the fact that one of them suddenly decided they didn't want it wasn't going to stop him.

"Well I guess some how this is being pinned on us lets get to the others and see if we can help put an end to this..."

Clive was fortunate to have the right aura active for the occasion so they wouldn't have to drag their feet. Had several scuff marks at the points where his clothes were torn as well as a deep but mysteriously bloodless sword wound on his left forearm, but Athena inexplicably fared worse than him. Thank his will-based stamina buff that he had the energy to support them both if necessary.

"I'll get us to them. Just let me know where they are," he declaratively offered, still keeping Athena on her feet.
