Achilles(Troy) vs. Link(TP) in a sword fight

Being unhurt means immunity to something significantly lesser.

Gore is not appropriate for children, but neither is it mature, glad we agree.

He isn't immune to the axe as per gameplay. So thus you lose. My point of he survived stands since the fight continues.

Only an individual mature enough can deal with the gore. Zelda is a kiddie game. Gow is for someone more mature than zelda. No surprise you are drawn to Zelda.

Gameplay mechanics < canon cutscene, herp.

Something tells me you're still not 'mature' enough to deal with gore, Quan. You'll find the top end of people who play GoW and Zelda to be the same age.

They both count. Only fanboys want to include their highest feats while ignoring the rest. So sayeth the guy obsessed with zelda. Nope, most people are sick and tired of zelda. It's the same tired formula.

Cutscene- link shrugs off a giant axe to the face.
Gameplay-it takes at least 8 hits to down him, and he doesn't experience fatigue or lasting injuries.

I'm not quite sure what you're arguing for here.

That the axe hurts him. the takes damage part is clear when it strikes you. he is arguing axes can't hurt him.

The axe hurt him, but link ultimately walked away with out much damage. If a blow like that can't down him for long, then he can probably take more punishment before he croaks.

Depends on where it strikes. If it hits his throat he's a goner.

AXE to the FACE...
If we're going by gameplay, then hylians have the ability to repair damaged tissue by consuming the flesh of their enemies and reporposeing the cells.

We don't see it exactly what it hits. The scene is vague. We do know for sure that axes hurt and can kill Link thus disproving an immunity.

We see that an axe CAN'T kill link if it hits in the General torso area. Could Achilles slit links throat? Probably. But he has to get his little short sword past link's sheild and long sword.

You've played one Zelda game. Lol.

Gameplay mechanics aren't feats at all. They're mechanics.

By feats Achilles can't hurt Link.

I've played far more than one zelda game. The 1st, 2nd, the snes one, tp, and oot. I played ww for five seconds years ago but it was so boring I put it down.

Ww is one of my favorites. ..

Link looking like the dentist elf from rudolph ruined it for me.

Lol. You said yourself TP was your first Zelda game in the VG versus OTT.

If you'd actually played aLttP you'd know this is a stomp, you got stuck in OoT, a game I beat when I was 10.

WW has one of the manliest storylines in any game ever, and you couldn't handle the design, lol. Figures.

It's the first game I went through in years. I cannot remember all the details since it was when I was a kid. In my recent reemergence in the gaming world it's the first one I beat in years.

I could care less how old you were. Game got boring and old anyway. I still will go back eventually.

Sure it was. Dentist Link. LOL.

Me at 10 > You now. How's it feel?

Artstyle=/= game quality.
Dentist elf link kicks ass.

You beat a game I really didn't care for. You seem to judge yourself by beating a kiddie game. How unbelievably sad.

It does make it unappealing to me. I don't find kiddie art appealing.

I highly doubt it. Gabriel Belmont and Kratos kick ass. Link not so much.
