How did you interpret the words "leave it at that" as being "please, repeat yourself"?

Bill was inside the Star. It was stated he was drifting towards it, and it's pretty obvious in the last panel that he flew out.I'm not sure if he got to it's core or not but he was close enough to be inside.
Definitely somewhere inside the star, but prolly not at the "heart". Judging by how relatively unfazed he was, Bill should be able to survive it fine.
