The short answer is: no, he wasn't inside the sun. At best it's a "just the tip" type of situation, certainly not something that proves he can survive inside the sun for 5 minutes, which is what this thread asks.

i've said the same thing in the past as phil is saying now. and i'm a thor FAN. at best that atum scan is suspect imo. in avx recently, it seemed at least questionable whether thor would survive the inside of the star. my opinion is he probably could survive it, but it wouldn't be easy for him--at all, and i don't personally see that atum scan as support. as for bill, that scan is totally up for interpretation. i don't personally think he was inside, or if he was it was JUST. not close to the heart. shrug
