Graboids vs Predators

3 graboids vs 3 predators, same setting as the first pred movie they are hunting each other.

Who wins?

Predator's, all they have to do is stay up in the tree tops.

They can knock the trees over.

Only if the predator's make noise

and yes i've seen the Tremor's movies.

They're not going to make noise jumping from tree to tree? Also it's not enough for the preds to just survive they have to actively hunt the graboids.

All they have to do is grab a large branch and drop it.

Can't confirm this but i don't think anything other than continuous movement will draw the graboids as iirc when the chick was running in the first one the graboid followed then when she stopped it stopped chasing her.

do the graboids have infrared, heat vision or something that will them something is being camouflaged?? if not Preds destroy them

Predators easily. The Graboids were figured out and defeated by hicks lol. Loved "Tremors" tho.

Yeah awesome movie. And the Predators make a living flying from planet to planet killing such things.

Kazenji is correct. The Predators just need to hit the trees. Create decoys and shoot the bastards through the brain.
If the worms compromise the ground beneath the trees they simply jump.
Rinse and repeat.

Looking forward to more Tremors threads though.

What exactly are they going to create decoy's with tho? And even if they were able to get 1 with this tactic i have a hard time seeing them getting more the worms are very smart and catch on fast. And as for the jumping from tree to tree strategy sure they could do that but not for long or the graboids would just starve them out.

They could decoy with anything really. The Graboids are attracted to noise so a plasma cannon blast would make them run towards where it hit. Plus they have weapons that could probably go thru the ground.

EDIT: And you don't know how long a Pred can go without food. The Graboids could easily starve themselves out

Well from what we saw in the first movie they were willing to wait for the guy on top of the poll to die of dehydration so they can probably go awhile w/o eating, And besides it's not like all of them have to be there at the same time to watch them.

The Graboids didn't really seem to "work together" all that much iirc

Yeah i totally forgot about that. How many Graboids were in the 1st movie? I remeber one died from Bert shooting it, one died from the dragging dynamite, one went off the cliff, and one died in the beginning but i forgot how. Any others?
