Anyway, new DBZ news. Another battle of gods type of movie is officially announced now by Toriyama, so it's no longer a rumor/speculation thing. We learn about the background of Gine, Goku's mother and Bardock's wife, and apparently our Saiyan prince will be the main protagonist of this said new movie (SSJG Vegeta confirmed?), so get hyped Vegeta fans.

Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are nothing more than powered-up variations of Super Saiyan. After the fight with Beerus, Goku realized that mastering his normal state and Super Saiyan would raise his level more and sap less strength, so I think he probably won’t become Super Saiyan 2 or 3 any more.

I never knew that. It would explain how Vegeta has always remained a Super Saiyan and yet managed to compete with Super Saiyan 2's and even surpassed SS3 Goku/Ultimate Gohan in the newest movie.

I wouldnt say he really surpassed them he didnt even scratch bills and got one shotted.

Anyone buy or DL the official English dub of BoG(came out a few days ago)..? It was definitely much more enjoyable to hear English voices, but I don't know why they kept the cheesy Jap music--the film could have been epic with Faulconer's scores.

base-level Goku<Frieza
Beerus can destroy a solar system when he gets pissed(not a galaxy)
Beerus was using less than 70% of his power against SSJG Goku

I know we knew most of that already--it was just nice to have it confirmed in plain English. 👆

Good to have have more clarification. Was the Vegito line said in the sub?

I don't recall right off hand(I immediately deleted my Jap copy when the English dub came out, lol.)

In the English dub, Goku outright states that even if he fused with Vegeta again, it still wouldn't be enough to defeat Beerus--and he made that statement right after Beerus wtfstomped him on King Kai's world.

Oh, I forgot to mention that in the English dub, Beerus states that some of the other universes in the DBZ-multiverse have spawned warriors even more powerful than himself and Whis--he states this as a fact, not as a question.

They need to figure out what the hell is going on with Gohan. Why can he transform now? Did he power down for some reason? Is his potential no longer unlocked? Who the F*CK locked it back up!!??

Gohan never lost the ability to transform into a SSJ--he simply no longer needed to transform after Old Kai unlocked his potential. When he powered up and attacked Beerus, however, he was definitely in his 'Mystic' form.

Ayup. Didn't know people still got confused by that regarding how his mystic form works. It may look like he's normal/non-transformed, but it's not the case.

Haven't watched BotG in english yet, but I will soon.

There's a simply explenation to all concerns regarding Gohan: they (AT and his crew) forgot he was Ultimate, and they thus made him transform in a Ssj.
Then, after watching the first trailer, fans made them notice this (ridicolous) mistake, and thus they simply re-painted Gohan's hairs, but main movie scenes were already done.
That's why Good Boo seems much stronger than him: because Gohan wasn't even meant to be Ultimate in that movie.

That's the sad truth.

I didn't see the movie yet but yeah I was talking about the trailer I saw. I didn't know it was changed
