He exposes parts that are not exposed in planetoid mode.

The only parts of him that were internal that I could see from the movie were his legs. The abbs (That glowing red energy well that made up his middle) had coverings before, and the majority of his head.

His arms formed the back part of his planet mode, and the top of his head was the maw and tusks., and hsis "wings" were formed from the orbital ring.
