Yeah, Watchmen wasn't Marvel nor did it make a lot of $$$ 🙂

You didn't like Watchmen? That film was awesome!

popcorn movie.

where did this weak nonsensical excuse originate?

not yelling at you in particular but i keep hearing this as an excuse to continue putting intellectually devoid crap action films on a pedestal while declaring it untouchable from any fair criticism.

Nah it was decent film. I'm curious, what in your mind would have made the perfect Cap Origin movie?

More exciting action sequences would have been nice.

Watchmen was awesome! for it perfectly represented the source material to modern audiences. A great film.

Same argument I had for Thor. Just wanted Cap to be more impressive. But happy with what I got.

It was really boring and anti climactic.

I hated the Transformers films and grew up loving the cartoon.

There goes your theory.

I am objective about what I see but I do want marvel to prevail but won't lie if dc ever gains the upper hand.

I was really let down. Bad movie IMO based on expectations.

What were your expectations?
What would've been your ideal Watchmen film?
What would've you changed from the movie we received?

More of a climax at the end and not as long and drawn out. I was bored.

ie read somewhere that Alan Moore was pissed that they took out the squid 🙂

The ending of Watchmen is legendary amongst comicbook fans.

Ozymandias has already unleashed his plan before the heroes had any chance to stop it. He was too smart to allow any possible win scenario for his ex-comrades.

He even persuaded the god member of the crew to kill the one man who would try to expose his plan.

You didn't answer my question by the way. What would've you changed.

It sucked to me. He also was lucky that pansy Manhattan didn't kill him.

Shortened it and more action.

thank you quanchi for illustrating the tragically low-brow majority of moviegoers today

right. "MORE ACTION!!! *PEW PEW PEW BOOOOOM BANG* and then a helecopter crashes onto a tank of rocket fuel and its all like "BLAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOWW!!!!!" and then dr manhatten does a super-mega-unnecessary-energy blast instead of just making him splatter like he does to everyone. just as alan moore intended.

hint: the city bombing was made for the sole intent of avoiding the book's ending which would have come off as unexciting and awkward. giant dead squid just appearing and everyone being like "OMFG ITS A GIANT DEAD SQUID!!!!!"

He asked for my opinion. Not all movies need more action and less dialogue but this one clearly did. Not a hit Thats for sure so they didn't do something right.

Pew pew. I'm right. Again.

If you don't like Avengers, you're an idiot.

Fact.
