Please let there be less fighting.I don't know why but I was sick of fighting before I got halfway there. Not knocking the combat, but meh.
Originally posted by Arachnid1What I like about the combat is how badass Batman looks when he lays the smackdown on their candyasses. It is brutal, satisfactory watching Bats own/cripple most of them. I'm not fond of the fighting mechanics though, so I agree with you. The combat mechanics frustrate me most of the time. The predator levels are much, much, much more fun. We needed more of them in this game to balance all the fkn fighting.

What's this @ the Arkham combat being too scripted? You can do plenty different combos with the order/timing of which you do your techniques, whether you include gadgets in the picture or not, although they too can be used during combos with the quickfire mechanics (not just batarangs). Admittedly though, I wouldn't mind if punch and kick were two separate buttons, but I prefer B/circle being stun for doing them beatdowns on thugs or whathaveyou.
Anyway, I'm not sure how much the Mr. Freeze DLC is since I got it through the season pass, but man is it one of the best story expansion DLC's to have happened in awhile. The new batsuit and its thermal abilities are pretty awesome. Sure beats the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC from City, to say the least.
Oh... I think that was one of the ones you had to do in one of the scripted predator room scenarios of the story mode for it to count. Wasn't able to get that one till I was doing New Game + in that one main predator room of the GCPD, I believe.
Also, if you don't get all the tracks done after NG+, you can do 'em on I Am the Night mode, and if you progress too far there story-wise for you to get anymore of them, just get yourself killed so you can start the story anew and the tracks you completed before will still be saved. Regardless, the Deadshot side mission is good for getting a couple of the more annoying predator-based tracks out of the way.
Hope that helps.
