I'm gonna call it, Annie is the Female Titan. If you've read the manga don't confirm or deny, this is just my speculation.

They're both blonde (Eren and his titan form have the same hair colour)
She knows how to use the 3DMG
But the really big reason I think it's her is because of how good she is at hand to hand combat.

Mikasa doesn't pull powers from her ass like the new Titan.

Granted I am now reading the manga so I kinda know the deal with some of these.

the only real "out of the ass-power" for me was the diamond skin thing.

And the ability to call other titans to help her...and the ability to accelerate her healing. And the ability to casually go through transformations.

I don't mind a powerful villain but she just keeps pulling the powers out...which is extremely off putting because the majority of the other titans are more or less very balanced.

Oh and I'm reading the manga now because a big plot point got spoiled...which now that I've caught up and seen exactly how the reveal was handled and ultimately what came of the character I am not very pleased. Sad Samson is sad.

Yeah there are assholes who think they're cool by spoiling something like that. Happened to me too.

Based on the manga though I do wonder where they're gonna stop with episode 25.

To me that just says that she has experience using the form. I kind of expected these things. But the diamond skin just came out of nowhere and they have yet to explain its limitations.

Just caught up with episode 22 and started reading the manga since I wanted to know more. What I got is questions, questions and more questions! This is an Excellent anime/manga.

They all kick ass and they all do it through different ways/means.

The anime made it a point to showcase how good she is at fighting enemies her own size, which is why I suspect her.

Not to mention the similar features. Its kind of like when Titan Eren first showed up. The Titan had a certain resemblance and almost everyone knew it was him before they confirmed it.

Not saying its Anne though. *chuckle*

Female Titan is the Mikasa of Titans.

You're severely underestimating the humans.

Levi absolutely crushes every titan in a straight up fight, Eren deals with Reiner, and Mikasa and the others deal with Colossal.

But the real answer is the Ape Titan, who for now I assume is the De Facto Leader, doesn't want them to.

Reiner and Mr. Disappointing couldn't call titans to assist them like she can. And they don't seem to be doing any accelerated healing like she showed.

I just don't care for her much as a character.

Levi is a genocidal titan slayer.

The gap between Levi and his closest competition, Mikasa, is astounding. Mikasa did pretty good against the Female Titan but Levi utterly curbed it.
