Bulbins however, were able to knock out link(who even pre adventure was strong enough a charging rhino sized goat traveling downhill) and also smart enough to set a trap for link (bridge burning). Batman is of 20ish martial arts, stealth, criminology, escape, and has a Kevlar lined suit, glider cape, baterangs, exploding baterangs, grapling hooks, and various non combat gadgets.
Link's super strength and sword mastery keeps him at bay so his martial arts are useless, his wolf senses would pick bat out so stealth is gone, link is a good guy so batman might have trouble figuring him out or developing a strategy to counter his style, links arrows have shattered stone a nd jewels and has super human strength with his sword so Kevlar is out, his arrows or boomerang will mess bats gliding and mobility, and his arrow and bomb arrows counter the baterangs, he has his own hookshot to deal with bats grapple, and even if bats out plans or out smarts him (link is famous for picking out weak points by the way) at least two of his items are sentient and one can fight on it's own. What's bats going to do? Provide a situation where he can win.
