Star Wars: Rebels!

I'm betting it's Kenobi yeah, it doesn't make any sense to bring Savage back and Maul's daddy would be a little random, the fact that they are teasing who it is suggests its someone we know. And yeah there is the whole hope and twin suns link, it seems likely Ezra and Maul ended up seeing the same thing, "hope" of defeating the Sith - which lies with Obi-Wan.

And I agree with Ares, Maul vs Kenobi would be a fitting end for the character, though frankly I think he should have died in TCW.

Preferable to getting killed by Ezra. 🙂

EDIT: My main concern though is that it will overshadow the main Rebels plotline.

The plotline being?

Definitely Kenobi. No one else would get him all obsessed like that.

Should have guessed as soon as they brought Maul back tbh. They're kind of tied together.

Also I'm glad Maul will get a worthy send off. And not some s*** like Ezra killing him.

Oh and nice feat for Maul extracting Hera's thoughts. Confirms that's not some new ability in Ep.7 Kylo was taught from Snoke. But a bit of a contradiction to ANH, when Vader couldn't extract the Rebels home base from Leia. I guess Leia being a powerful force sensitive is the explanation to that. Just like Kylo couldn't extract information from Rey.

Extracting thoughts from one's mind, should be just a variant of messing with one's mind like Mind Trick. Not sure it'd be a completely new ability.

In early drafts of ANH, it's mentioned that, as royalty, Leia was trained to resist such things.

Plus didn't they use a mind probe? So it wasn't Vader that did it.

Yeah but originally it was only on weak minded people which I doubt Hera is.

Kylo (and now Maul) can seemingly extract thoughts from almost anyone.

Eh well the Ghost crew to me, I haven't really found them to be overwhelming. I mean they have alright abilities and Zeb is pretty strong, but I feel they are only barely above your nameless characters tbh in areas that they don't seem to be notable about.

He'll get beaten by Kenobi because that's just "how it should go." Good and bad guy are sworn rivals, but the hero always wins.

Jedi and Sith "Mind Tricks" work differently evidently, and this is true of Legends as well.

My question about this series and SW Lore... If there are a couple of people running around obviously showing Force Abilities and fighting the Rebellion....Shouldn't that be putting them rather high on Vader's
To Do List"??

I mean isn't killing people like that one of his Job Descriptions?

You'd think, but the galaxy is a big place and I guess he has more important things to do. There are other Rebel Cells after all, and presumably some are currently bigger and more threatening. As fore the Jedi, Ezra and Kanan aren't really powerful enough for Vader to deal with personally; it's only when they begin messing with the DS construction that Vader gets called in.

Not big enough for Vader but A-OK for Thrawn to handle?

Makes sense.

Sidious knows Vader can't defeat Maul and Kenobi. He has to wait until they are old men

What Sidious thinks doesn't matter. Filoni rules all now!

Millennial Star Wars Fans are so silly.

So pretty ok episode, but is it too much to ask for them to tone down the blatant PIS in every single episode? Like I swear they don't even hide this crap, which makes impossible things that really shouldn't happen...happen.

I don't care about the show enough anymore to keep up with the episodes, tbh.

Why's that?

It's boring, the fact Maul seems like a caricature of what he's supposed to be, and like you said, the constant PIS.
