Yeah, Clone Trooper armor was never so durable.

Worse yet, he said Generation 1. Meaning the very first Clone armor we see in AoTC.

"Generation 1 armor, always stands up..."

.....

Rex, I think you mean plot armor, don't be biased.

I'll take that sure, the droid's blasters wouldn't be at full power considering how long it's been. But Rex should have been wounded or something after getting shot in the head by a Droideka.

Why are you bitching about it when you acknowledge the perfectly viable explanation stated in the episode? The Droideka's shield's can't even handle a thrown helmet, I doubt their blasters have virtually any power behind them.

I'm not, but just saying Rex was wrong with his statement.

All I want to know is....How does Kanan keep that helmet on his head? And why is he even wearing it?

To cover his blind eyes.

One thing is for sure Ezra is packing some power. I wonder what the fate of Kanan and Ezra will be? Surely they can't survive past the events of a New Hope.

Probably leave to go train to excuse them from the movies.

Maybe they'll die on Alderaan. Or just go off and do their own thing.

Yeah but WHY?

Filoni has already confirmed that the show can go past ANH, which obviously also includes Kanan & Ezra, they're a different Rebel cell so it's actually pretty believable that they don't get mixed in with the OT movies.

Well hopefully it doesn't do that. Because then people will be wondering why they weren't helping against the DS or why they didn't see Luke. It also throws out the whole Luke being the last Jedi and only hope for the Alliance....I guess moreso the former.

Yeah, Kanan certainly needs to die.

I could actually feel you cringing while watching those scenes. 🙂

I really just cringed at his statement more than anything.

Well yes and no, for me it really depends which kind of story they're willing to give to it. They could come up with some excuse that has the Ghost crew do something far away from the main events of the OT for example.

That's such a lame copout though.

Sure but considering we're already at least two years before ANH I think they might actually go for something like that

The preview for the next episode tells us that Gar Saxon is the main antagonist in the episode, you might know him from Son of Dathomir.

They don't show the parts where the clone troopers pop back up with a "I'M OK!", is all. 😉

That's true. Maul not back until Episode 11:
