Star Wars: Rebels!

Also my bet is that they'll never meet Obi-Wan, at least Kanan and Ezra, this would completely undermine pretty much ANH-ROTJ. Because if Obi-Wan knew about Kanan/Ezra and the Rebel Alliance...it would then raise questions as to why he didn't just seek them out with the whole Death Star plans and what not.

As of ROTJ Obi-Wan said Luke was the Jedi's last hope, unless Kana/Ezra died...which is probably gonna be unlikely at least in Rebels, then what he says and what Yoda says just makes no real sense.

Great episode

Kenobi would be pretty dumb not to know about the Rebellion, he stayed on Tatooine because he had to protect Luke.

And Kanan & Ezra aren't strong enough to defeat the Sith, the whole point of this arc is that Kenobi or rather Luke is the "key" to doing that.

They probably will meet Kenobi tbh, and that's not really problematic.

Seems like it to me, otherwise why not just contact them about the DS plans? Instead of finding a pilot at Mos Eisley?

But I guess we'll see...then again with TCW Anakin/Dooku fought so many times, it doesn't make sense in ROTS either soo...eh. /Shrug, it wouldn't be the first time.

Contact who? Kanan and Ezra for a pickup? I doubt they'll exchange phone numbers lol.

Why not? Seems like it would make sense if they ever need him for something or he does. But we'll see.

Leia knew enough to send Obi Wan a message, so odds are he knew about them too.

I hope if they do meet Obi Wan, The name is never said. Just Kenobi or Master Kenobi.

lol why

Well....

BEN
Obi-Wan Kenobi... Obi-Wan? Now thats
a name I haven't heard in a long
time... a long time.

LUKE
I think my uncle knew him. He said
he was dead.

BEN
Oh, he's not dead, not... not yet.

LUKE
You know him!

BEN
Well of course, of course I know
him. He's me! I haven't gone by the
name Obi-Wan since oh, before you
were born.

Him being called Obi-Wan beforehand, kind of flies in the face of this dialogue.

But then again, Anakin's line in ROTS to Dooku is also pretty much destroyed since they fight many times in TCW soo....although there is a little bit more room since time isn't given of when they last met.

Still though.

Nah, Anakin's power was merely expanding exponentially at the time, cuz CHOZIN WUN!!! IOW, it really DID increase twiceover between TCW and RotS!111!!1!! evillaugh

On a serious note, I finally caught up with the episodes. Very happy with Thrawn... I couldn't have asked for a better portrayal of the character, tbh. 👆

Has Thrawn done anything in this show?

Pretending he lost on purpose several times yeah.

Which I'm not really understanding, other than plot reasons.

Admiral Konstantine: "We're letting them get away? I don't understand!?"
Governor Pryce: "I know you don't, but rest assured, Thrawn has a much larger objective in mind than the capture of a single Rebel cell..."

Fair enough I guess, I only really watch episodes once so I can't really remember all of what goes on each one.

He's the one that figured out the rebel double agent.

Pretty much everything they try to pull, he knows about, but they don't know he knows.

The real plot device is the gray force user.

He just lives in a cave, yet seems to know everything about Jedi and Sith...We don't know a thing about him, yet he's the goto guy for answers.

I mean, we don't even know what he lives on. Or what he does with his time. Sleep? Hum to himself? Laugh about how he's corrupting niave jedi?

Is he carrying his ysalamiri pet on his shoulders or not yet?

Nope.
