Dumb ass Kristian Harloff on Jedi Council is 95% convinced Sabine is Obi-Wan's daughter and Rey's mom.

Talk about getting carried away with the "who is Rey" question.

I'm gonna laugh my head off when she just ends up being Luke's daughter.

Yeah, as ridiculous as it is, that theory has been around for a while. I do like the idea that Rey is Kenobi’s granddaughter though, it’s certainly more interesting then Luke’s daughter.

Might be interesting, but doesn't explain anything IMO.

Well her being Uber powerful.

Being Obi-Wan's granddaughter doesn't even explain who her parents are, which is ultimately where her powers would have been inherited from. So It's not needed, wouldn't explain anything, and would raise more questions than it answers.

Being Luke’s daughter only explains who the father is, not her mother. And being Kenobi’s granddaughter would explain were she inherited her powers. No, it doesn't explain the ludicrousness of her learning powers in mere minutes but being a Skywalker doesn't explain it much better either.

Yeah but if it's Luke, then he's there in the next film, and we'll find out more about his background and who he was hooked up with, and why she ran off when she was pregnant and blah blah. And it would be kind of inconsequential who her Mother was tbh.

Whilst with the Kenobi theory they first have to explain why the perfect Jedi broke the Jedi code, when he had a family, why he abandoned them, why we never heard about his kids.. And then there likely still has to be another strong force user in the blood line as well, to explain why Rey's so powerful. It's just too many questions. So unless they do an Obi-Wan spin off film to explain it all in depth, I just don't see it personally.

One thing that interests me though, is that whoever dropped her off on Jakku (the people she at least thinks were her parents) had to have been total dicks leaving her there as a child.

I disagree entirely. The filmmakers should be more easily able to brush of Kenobi's love interest. Have him say he was young and foolish and just go from there. Because, lets face it, the GA is going to be far more interested in Luke's love interest then Kenobi's.

I just heard the THEORY that Rey is Palpatine's Grandkid.

So she has that going for her now as well....

And back to my point of Sabine going Force User. This season she got POSSESED by one of the Force Ghosts of a Witch of Dathomir and then after that she picked up that Dark Saber thing. Only Force Users can use lightsabers so why else would she pick it up? Hey! Maybe Rey is Sabine and EZRA's KID!!!!

That would tie in Rebels and the New Movies!!!!!!!

Except Canon seems to be going with anyone can use a lightsaber, not just Force Users.

Except that its being replaced with Fan Canon and Fan Canon says different.

That's a really dumb rumour IMO. Those people are not even the same race for a start. I know it's a Galaxy far away so anything is possible, but they haven't shown parents and children being different colours yet.

And second, I doubt they would leave the explanation to Rebels.

It's kind of hard for either Obi-Wan or Satine to be Sabine's parents, considering she's meant to be Asian.

Well it's hard for either, but not impossible.

It's impossible for both of them together though lol

So Saw will be in the next episode voiced by Forest Whitaker. So they're not wasting any time Lol

They all should tbh. <.< I can't really see Luke not having met them, when he was the Alliance's biggest hero.

Nice to get confirmation that it was Hera being commed and not Cham. And, yeah, Kanan and Ezra should be gone by the time of R1, whether that means they are dead or something else.

Who says he didn't? But then they might have perished on Scarif.

Kanan needs the die though. And Ezra needs to die or convert to the dark side.
