Star Wars: Rebels!

Right which is why I'm asking, what makes for her being a base commander if her whole character is about piloting? I mean unless that's going to be explained, I'm more questioning as to why she apparently went from being a starship focused character to a General instead of becoming an Admiral as RO seems to imply.

General's and Admiral's are equal ranks.

Just different branches.

I know that..Admiral however would fit better for her though given her pilot background and her character. Since Admirals command starships/fleets. General usually is ground forces, which doesn't fit what her character is trying to imply.

General and Admiral are basically interchangeable in the SW universe. As everything is primarily in space while ground based stuff is secondary. Thrawn is Admiral. Tarkin was Moff which is essentially the same rank but still in space. Jacen Solo was General of the GA, which was just a reboot of the Empire.

Nothing has changed for Hera. She simply leads people well as her father ran a country or some such. Especially small groups and groups of pilots.

Could be more of a logistics based role, simply because she's a general doesn't mean she commands ground forces.

On the other hand being a crack pilot doesn't mean she'd make a good admiral.

EDIT: However could also be a rank in the Starfighter Corps, like with General Merrick, the Blue Squadron Leader.

Fair enough, I could see that. I did forget about that.

Isn't there an old joke about how easy it is to clime in rank in the Rebellion?

Trials of the Darksaber was a great episode, I really loved everything about it.

Yeah, I especially liked when Ezra got beat by a teenage gurl.

Lmao, she's 20 IIRC

Sure as hell don't look like it. Looks like she's at best like...17/18.

yYeah but that's just animation, they can't update the characters every half year, look at Ahsoka in TCW for example.

And the darksaber is a lot shorter then a lightsaber.
