Tbh they've all been in situations where they should have died really. How Hera survived that one space battle is blatantly PIS, when every other A-wing was getting destroyed in 1-2 shots, yet hers gets blasted and despite her ship getting critically damaged and I believe her hyperdrive damaged, she was still able to escape.
Ezra being unconscious and in space for more than 1 minute....I mean, I guess The Force gives a Force User extended air maybe but...I don't see why Maul is trying that with Kanan in the new episode if it wouldn't work.
I'm kinda indifferent to them all really, except Chopper, I'm not a real big fan, they seem to try too hard with him.

There still things to explore (e.g. bounty hunters) and TCW was great because of what they did with the characters (character developement), something which in Rebels is happening faster.

He was a big threat to our heroes which is what mattered. Not every SW adventure needs a Darth to come along for our heroes to feel threatened.

Because by introducing Maul into Rebels, they have to make him dumb for the heroes to survive.

Besides the main cast (i.e. the Ghost Crew, the GI and Agent Kallus) Rebels has done a poor job of introducing original compelling characters, yeah. Whereas TCW would pull one out of a hat every other episode, there is no comparison.

I would have much rathered a Dooku/Anakin thing between the GI and Kanan. Starts off with Kanan being pwned in the first season, gradually progressing in skill throughout the second season and finally defeating him in season 3. Much better idea than bringing Maul in and butchering him.

Well if they don't come up with their own original villains then Cad Bane's a good choice for this crew. At least he's someone they can realistically beat. Instead they bring in Movie Icons like Maul just to s*** on them.
