saw x2 the other day...and I must say...10 times better than number 1!

well, both are excellent movies, but i would have to say that matrix 2 will surpass x2. the only reason i say that is because there were people dressed as neo but i didnt see anybody dressed as x-men. so perhaps matrix has a little more of a geek staying power then x-men (which surprises me)

i don't think it'll be the best, but Matrix will probbably make the most money.

I believe that Matrix Reloaded will be beaten by Hulk and then beaten by T3
but I belive that The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King will be the victor... I mean three movies one year after eachother? c'mon LOTR is the best series ever!

Matrix Reloaded, has allready got 135 Mill, in the U.S. alone.

Also some of what you guys were saying about stats, you were'nt being clear if you meant U.S. or World Wide.

And Matrix 2 has beaten Spiderman's 1 day record.

Also the line for this mmovie literally went outside the theater, and the theater I go to is huge inside, and sells tickets within there. Not only that, I wanted Saturday tickets, and I got them on Friday. But Even If I wanted tickets for Friday, I could'nt get them because they were all sold out. And I was there at 1pm. Sold out for the entire day!

So after just 4 days Matrix 2 is about 140 on the Box office charts.

I definitly will see it again, This movie is going BEYOND 300 mil guys..domestic.

Wait a sec I just realized, Reloaded just made the biggest Weekend gross of all time. Although this Box Office list site has a typo, they should be fixed by tomorrow.

They count the Lord of the rings TTT 5 day weekend, and it's #15.

Reloaded has made 135 mil in just 4 days, maybe more.

Also I did'nt even vote for Reloaded as the biggest film of the year, I think it will be Revolutions. It's that Late year opening, the Titanic Effect, that TTT copied pretty well last year. But Not quite Titanic results. Also those 2 movies within a month From Each other, I gotta see what happens. You'd think that ROTK will just trounce it after a month, but it all depends on how good Revolutions is.

way to go thomas H nice call, but we still have ROTK and revolutions before reloaded is declared champ, but i guess in reloaded wins revolution wins and visa versa. there will be other big films but those two or i guess three (2 matrix, 1 LOTR) will be the cream of the crop.

I think The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions willl be the best movies of 2003.

well reloaded has lost its steam. in the US it is at about 250 million. it looks like i might be right in saying that it will get close but wont break 300 mill. and since all the other LOTR films broke 300, i am sticking with my guess of ROTK being #1.
