E3 2013

I only said I wanted that. Don't care where it comes out. Actually I want it to come on PS4 or PC.

Shigeru Miyamoto says that Zelda Wii U was almost shown at E3, is progressing concretely, and is further along in development than people think:

I want a spiritual successor to Alan Wake. =\

Recently beat Alan Wake.

Was a pretty cool guy.

My reaction to E3 this year.

Well, The age of individual consumers has ended. Gamers are nothing more than sheeple, grazing idly in whatever pasture the memes and viral opinions lead them to. Talk about fickle. There's barely any semblance of consciousness left, more like just a haze of groupthink. But that's how things are and always will be so Fuggit.

Now the consoles....despite the controversy the Xbox One had a decent launch line up of games. Very please and very satisfied Killer Instinct 3 is back and very much looking forward to remember some fond memories of the past. Ryse caught my attention and maybe a game I might pick up in the future.

PS4 had a good show and trying to heal the wounds left since 2006 and I think they're doing a fine job. Ironic now that after their massive hack awhile ago they will now charge for online gaming. Kudos to them and their fanbase.

Nintendo Wii...I really don't care. I still have my 3DS so meh for their conference.

Who won e3 or who lost? Who fuggen cares? Be a gamer not a ****n fanboy. Not gonna pre-order any of them because times have change for me. I'm no longer the video consumer of years past.

I hope everyone enjoyed this e3 and have a good time with your games.

If that's true, then they are ****ing idiots. Nitnendo showing a new Metroid or Zelda game alone would have won them E3, now they are just as uninteresting as they were before.

I concur.

At least they ain't as bad as MS though. I still think Sony would have won simply because at the end their conference was one big F U to Microsoft from Sony and Fans.

Why would showing a new Zelda or Metroid "win them E3"? Showing a game that's basically a clone of the same ****ing game that was released 20 years ago but with better graphics would override everything we've seen from the other two consoles? Srsly, **** Nintendo's exclusives.

This E3 gave me:

0 reasons to get a PS4
-512 reasons to get a Xbox One
0 reasons to get a Wii U

If they had shown a new Metroid or Zelda that last digit would go up by one (for each if both were revealed), therefore they woul dhave won E3, for me.

Yeah because alot of things needs to be innovative to be great...glare

No-one particularly wants to spend money on a game thats the same as the previous ones bar updated graphics. Might as well save your money and play the old games.

Alot of them aren't 100% all the way the same as the previous ones.

Don't fix what ain't broke.

Although it is time for Zelda to make the leap and put the gameplay up to current technological and gameplay standards. They can do it and I know it can be great.

I've seen you ***** about CoD being a repetitive franchise.

The hypocrisy of Nintendo fans kills me.

You got a point, but at least Nintendo does not put out yearly Zeldas.

Possibly the first time Nintendo's inability to put out timely updates for its franchises has been hailed as a feature.

Not like Zelda and Metroid don't do different things besides update the graphics, but can see where you're coming from. Mario and Pokemon (especially Mario) are the much bigger offenders though far as doing the same thing over and over.

Was anyone else impressed with The Order 1886? I'm a sucker for historical stuff and it really reminded me of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It doesn't sound like it'll be ready for launch and I know there hasn't been any gameplay yet.. but I'm pretty psyched about it. Third-person shooter.

I was. I cannot repeat on this site what my reaction was. And, yes, it had a LoEG feel to it. Nice.
