Was anyone else impressed with The Order 1886? I'm a sucker for historical stuff and it really reminded me of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It doesn't sound like it'll be ready for launch and I know there hasn't been any gameplay yet.. but I'm pretty psyched about it. Third-person shooter.

That and inFamous are the exclusives on the PS4 I'm interested in.

I enjoyed Infamous. The second was also good but it's not a game I'm willing to spend crazy money on but it will be sweet to get for a good price once I wait for a few years.

Forza 5. Absolutely, I had a ton of fun with the 4th and I'm a sucker for Remedy games (not sure if Quantum Break is launch game or not).

Yeah, if I get a PS4, I'll be sad about not getting to play Quantum Break.

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets released on PC a few years later like Alan Wake was.

Yeah, and maybe Mac, w000

I appreciate that one.

You never know. A few years ago, Steam didn't sell games on Mac or Linux and now it does. Who knows what will happen in 5-10 years.

I say the same thing about this upcoming generation of consoles. Sony might be "winning" so far but all it could take to piss people off is Sony version of RRoD or publishers announcing DRM on the games.

Nintendo isn't in danger but it wasn't remarkable either. Even with a new Zelda or Metroid it would have been just as unremarkable.

I wonder how much of it is just the internet noise generator, and how it will in the end affect sales of the console.

Who knows.

I will always believe that consoles will always sell well if there is games. I don't think publishers will stop releasing games on the XBOX One for a long time. Who will win between PS4 and XBOX One, it doesn't really matter.

I think a lot of people talk and then buy the console a few years later when it has a good amount of exclusives gamest. I did it with the PS3 (a lot of people did). People forget how much shit Sony was going through when they announced the PS3. It might not of been as bad as the XBOX One but it will still pretty crazy. Hell, the XBOX 360 had a whole year to gain consumers but the PS3 still did well.

So who knows.

Xbox One demos...... not actually Xbox One demos?

Good lord. I don't know whether to laugh or cry for them atm. ugh3

I can't breathe! laughcry

But yes, that's sad. Microsoft has some explaining to do and for their sake, they better not use Don Mattrick again.

Oh come on. This is ridiculous. You don't think other companies show their games on a PC?

In the actual conference, yes.

In the demos? Well I don't know,, but if they do run demos on PCs its just wrong.

Why?

Why does it matter?

It's not just MS. The game isn't finished yet so it's probably easier to have a PC run the game instead of a dev kit.

Because it is misleading people. I am not singling out M$. If there are other developers doing similar stunts they are as guilty.

I just don't like it.

It is false advertisement

Simple like that

the fact that everyone does it doesn't make it right

But if they're showing the games off via PC, then how do we know how good the games will run on the consoles, jackass? I agree with Zack. That's some misleading bullshit right there.

Why did you call me a jackass?

It's misleading for sure but the point is that everybody does it, not just MS. I bet you anything Sony does it as well.
