Re: Frank Martin vs the entire Fast And the Furious Franchise

Frank single-handedly takes on every villain plot from every single film. He can go undercover or go after them straight up, but can he do it?
Are they taking him on together or is it a 1 on 1 match? I assume we're talking about h2h fights and not racing contests?
I'll have to re-watch the flicks, but IIRC only the Rock's character poses a challenge to Martin in a fight.

In T3 when he fought that huge Russian in his friends garage, he gave him fits until he outsmarted him. Hobb's is probably in that guys weight class, and obviously a lot more skilled. Frank would have a hard time with a guy like that.
If Toretto can overcome Hobbs in a fight, Frank most certainly can. And Frank's fought bigger, such as the huge black dude he killed with a boat in T2. Even if he has to use improvised weapons, he'll have no problem brining Hobbs to his knees.
That being stated, Frank is taking on the villain plots, not the heroes.
As I said, Dom was insulted and threatened by Hobbs, and as seen in F&F 1 and 4 and 5 and probably 6, when he's angry, he seems to have surges of strength.
And Dom is near superhuman, if not right at it considering the things he's pulled off.
As for him beating Hobbs, they were pretty much dead even with Hobbs looking slightly better due to training, then Dom got pissed and surprised him and pressed his advantage.
I doubt Frank can summon the strength needed to take him down. As he's more skilled than pretty much anyone Frank ever fought, and tougher to boot.
And Hobbs could be considered a villain since for the majority of the movie he was chasing down Dom and the Crew, who were the good guys.

Neither look like they'd give Frank too much of a challenge. They rely too much on brute strength, and Frank is far faster and more agile. They wouldn't touch him.

I doubt Hobbs' can summon the speed and agility needed to take Frank down. I also don't see him getting past frank's durability
The big Russian (who is far stronger, durable, and more skilled than Hobbs) was launching bare-chested Martin through concrete walls and metal barrels, and Frank was still agile enough to evade and eventually overcome him. Again, I don't see Hobbs touching Frank.

He really isn't. Frank fought a giant black guy who was literally launching Frank across the room with every single hit, and Frank still beat him. Even if Frank doesn't overcome him in straight H2H (which I highly doubt), if Frank has anything he can improvise as a weapon in his vicinity, it's over for Hobbs. Also, Hobbs' (possible) strength advantage fails him big time when Martin is far faster and more agile than him.

Then Hobbs is going down.

Frank is more superhuman than Dom. Martin consistently takes on 20-30 guys, sometimes they're armed, and he has no problems with them. I don't think Dom or Hobbs have ever had such odds stacked against them.

Would they even catch him? Frank is former Special Ops. I think he's stealthier than Brian.
Good point. Tho the entire point was for Brian to go undercover and infiltrate Dom's crew in order to figure out who is stealing form the trucks. I dunno that Frank would have enough street racing knowledge to pull it off. It's been a while since i've seen the films tho so i could be wrong.
