Diana was hella pissed. Poor Hal.

Apologies for any double messages; been having some severe problems with my Internet these past few hours.

The image shown a post or so ago is obviously the flex-out/construct breaking scene I was alluding to.

Here's a URL link and some reference information for that particular scene in case my other post did not go through:

Team wins hard. If flash do not want superman to touch him, he wont. Wonder Women is more than capable of harming superman. Hundreds of characters have tagged others that would make them look like a statue IF they wanted to.

Diana knocked out DCnU Kara (aka 52 Supergirl) despite Kara using her (usually) winning re-charge maneuver ...

... with a power tackle/dive to the ground.

Diana kicked Superman and gave him a bloody lip, proving that her normal level of force is enough to both affect and damage him physically.

Yeah Diana is certainly capable of kicking into higher gear. And she has shown she can make Superman feel her strikes.

It's a glorious fight, but I don't see Superman inching out any wins unless he has a bloodlust advantage.

Diana has been able to hurt Superman since long before the reboot, so it's not like it's news or anything.

PR, if you have the time, could you post the tsunami/flood/cruiser scene Zack was talking about? I vaguely remember seeing something like that online, but it was many weeks ago now, and, unfortunately, my collection of current Justice League adventures is woefully incomplete ...

Nice to leave out the context that kara drained herself by releasing a solar blast just before Diana KOED her.

Certainly!

And thank you in advance for your time:

In JLA she has broken Hal Jordan's bubble shield with a kick and had a shared feat of holding back a massive tsunami flood with a cruiser. Those 2 are the first to come to mind. She might have more.

Now that I think of it, Wonder Woman #20 probably offers a better hint of the "level up" Diana can, theoretically, perform at will.

Here, for reasons I have not yet been able to explore myself
(just stumbled across the scene a few minutes ago),
she decides to confront Artemis yet again, yet for some reason restrains herself from going "godmode".

Artemis comments on the difference in physical strength she enjoys over Diana under THAT condition ...

It's worth noting, just the same, how Diana's fight skill makes up for Artemis's (ordinarily) superior strength. Diana has more than power to back her up IF it comes down to it ...

Fairly certain I've discovered the reason now.

Just read the following on DC's wiki, which describes the scene I just posted to a "T",
and likewise fits in with what's been happening and discussed in the magazine's story arc as a whole:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

" As they fight, Artemis challenges Diana to remove her Bracelets of Submission, but the Amazon refuses, explaining that she must wear them in order to contain her power, for the sake of the innocent mortals. As Artemis' power brings destruction to the streets of London, Lennox rushes Hera, Zola, and Zeke down into the tube, annoyed that once again, he is stuck playing nursemaid.

Artemis continues to goad Diana into using the full extent of her power, as the Amazon loops her Lasso around her. Rather than use her own power against Artemis, she uses the lasso to reverse the moon goddess' power against her, channelling her momentum. She swings Artemis hard into the ground, disorienting her. Collapsed on the ground, Artemis warns Diana that failure to use the power she was given is the same as abusing it, and if she tries to contain it, it will explode in her face ... "

Oh that; okay.
