ok, just a list first I suppose:

Legal

- Cigarettes
- Alcohol
- Caffeine
- Assorted OTC painkillers (I used to take these with booze when I was younger)
- DXM in either cough syrup or anti-histamine meds
- T3s
- Morphine
- Methadone
- Kava Kava (before it was made illegal at least, haven't found it since 🙁 )
- Salvia
- Half dozen or so ethnobotanicals that I could no longer name from Africa or South America
- Amyl nitrate

Illegal

- Pot/Hash/Oil/Variety of other preparations of the plant
- Pure THC
- Ecstacy
- Pure MDMA
- Meth
- Amphetamines
- Cocaine
- Mushrooms
- LSD
- Ketamine

EDIT: I'm actually still pretty sure I'm missing some, but they would almost certainly be "one time" drugs, not something I'd have any familiarity with...

The only drugs that have ever been problematic are ketamine and alcohol, both to the point that I have learned I need to limit my access to them in extreme ways, or else I make a lot of bad personal and financial decisions. By comparison, I've smoked pot essentially daily for close to 12 years now, and while that might not seem "healthy", it doesn't come close to producing the same negative impacts on my life and is something I am able to consume while living an otherwise normal and happy life. Ketamine and especially alcohol are not like that.

I will point out, in my personal experience, and as it applies to me alone, it is ironic that the substance I have the worst outcomes with is also the most legal and ubiquitous in society. It is easier for me to be responsible with opiates than it is with alcohol.

Wow, your kind of like my hero now....

Have you ever read the naked lunch?

LSD
Speed
MDMA
Shrooms
Pot - solids n weed
Cocaine
Khat
Oh and Heroin and crack cocaine intravenously for 13 years straight, what a night that was!! Seriously, don't do it kids, not fun.

no

but prescription opiates don't?

Honestly, I'm not too knowledgeable about drugs, so most prescription drugs didn't scare me (probably stupid of me to not know what I'm taking, but oh well). I've only taken downers a few times, not really a fan.

I would never take crack, because it is evil and it is named after a body part. I think pot is cool though. What do you guys do?

Mitch

Crack iz gud ni**e*!

I know someone who sat for an Economics exam on LSD; He found the exam really easy and passed.

MDMA > all things

I squandered most of my adolescence on drugs and a good portion of my twenties. I'm not trying to blame drugs on anything because for as much as I lost there was a realization or a lesson gained. I started out on weed and it took me a good ten years to realize that I didn't like it. I say that because as I reflect I remember not liking the sensation I received. It made me tired and dim witted. However, I would persist experimenting with the drug because I thought it was getting me closer to a certain girl. Eventually this experimentation changed into a daily habit. Even after it became a habit it wasn't necessarily something I enjoyed but I did enjoy the experiences that came with it.

As years went on I graduated to an entire world of drugs including, Speed, ecstasy, LSD, Shrooms, cold medicine and alcohol. There are several others but I suppose it's not really important. At this point I'm thirty and I only drink on occasion, maybe once a month, if that. I only play in the trees and smoke weed on the rarest occasions and I certainly don't mess around with psychadelics anymore. These days I try to stay away from anything that clouds my perspective. I used to believe that drugs helped me see things clearly or get away from the problems at hand.

I wouldn't and don't condemn drug use or experimentation. Most of the foods we eat here in the west are more addictive than some drugs and that's because they're designed that way. The difference between a cheeseburger and a drug should be obvious though. I would say, however, I think everyone should try acid or a psychedelic at least once in their life and not so much for recreation but instead as a spiritual journey. With all that said I've seen some of the most strong willed and strong minded people lose themselves to drugs.

i did coke once with the knowledge i would never do it again cause i think i would easily get hooked. i get hooked on things that feel awesome way too easily. in psychology they told me that's a sign of depression but i don't usually feel depressed. i just get bored with sobriety tbh. i spent the first 18 years of my life straight edge and being sober never bothered me... until i found out what it feels like to get ****ed up.

too afraid to try heroin or meth. i've known too many people who ****ed their lives up on that stuff.

always take your complete meal. its simple & healthy drug compared to other

This, more or less.

Tons o' weed, mostly. I've ****ed with Salvia in the past on a couple occasions, and I drink socially. I like ecstasy alot. Out of every substance I've ever tried, X has given me the most consistently positive experience.

I also smoked Marlboro Reds throughout pretty much all of Middle School and most of my Freshman year, if that counts. Yuck.

Haha yeah that last definitely counts!
