Curryman's Meta-Amalgam Tourney!

Can anyone point me to the most recent bracket?

The bracket is largely void now. At some point the loser's bracket became such a wasteland of drop-outs that it was decided that Charlotte/Id and Me/PG would just be the semi-finals. I don't think anyone has objected, from participants to curry and judges.

any more word on judgements???

4/5 of the judges for Me/PG have turned theirs in. Bentley is handling the collection.

I have two confirmed for beatboks/Charlotte (third just backed out, so I'll be asking others), but no judgements in yet. I'll follow up in a day or so.

Lol. Just a typo. Yeah, I meant beatboks v. CDB

Bentley is acting as host for the finals. He'll be acquiring judges. I sent him a list of available judges to choose from, and he's welcome to bring in others. We're shooting for five judges.

Id and I are sending writeups to him soon. Id is currently working two jobs, so availability is limited, but I'm in no hurry. The match may last a couple weeks, depending on pace.

I should have rulings for Charlotte v. Beatboks this week. I'll post them once they're in.

In other news, my week is *****d beyond recognition from work and other stuff (trying to prep for a vacation next week). Expect a writeup this weekend.

Their match is a Battlezone, and is technically outside the tourney. Traditionally, no one has cared much about 3rd. Attempts to form matches for 3rd/4th have usually fallen flat, or have dissolved entirely. I think it's happened all of once in the history of KMC tourneys.

We've been limping along for the past month or two now, with an appointed "host" to replace the original, and a lot of no-shows; I think the goal is just to complete the final.

Agreed

Besides which in our Battlezone the amalgam I'm using has a body I was denied for the tourney by Curry. I just wanted to see how my battles would have gone had I had the access to that body to line up with my original plan mesh ( which BTW I still believe the body was well within the limits)

If that's aimed at me, I really don't have anything to avenge. I conceded in ours after all when I realised that prep didn't work how I'm used to elsewhere. But if you want a BZ against my amalgam with changed body ( or even a changed mind for Arion if you want) more than happy to.
