The same reason people have brought up soul/consciousness/mind manipulation as viable options for Surfer, despite him never preforming these tactics against a speedster? It is just something to think about, is all-- heck, I even stated that Zoom's makeshift intangibility/molecular vibration probably wouldn't work against energy attacks.

Following the rule of evidence > conjecture, we have to assume that unless you can bring forward "feats" from Zoom that proves otherwise. I think we can both agree that Surfer has the "feats" necessary to put him rather high up in the totem pole in terms of durability even from physical damage (shrugging off hits from BRB during a time when he was smashing planets, taking hits from a pissed off Thor with little damage, surviving direct physical blows from Tenebrous, shrugging off Nova Prime's blitz like it was nothing, etc.).

The burden of proof then falls on the Zoom side to prove that his blitzes have managed to easily bypass this level of durability within one blitz.

No one is seriously arguing those attacks when a simple omni-blast would work, tho. I think it was just tossed around when the idea of "eternal stalemate" was brought forward in order to showcase Surfer's varied options on this fight.

Was just wondering why one would even bring it up when the logical foundation on its relevance seemed a bit half baked. Thought there was some sort of hidden meaning or other. I was genuinely curious.

Also, I'm not a "Surfer supporter" more than I tend to pick my fights where I know I can debate properly and not look like a fool. 😛 I just have a bit more current knowledge on Surfer and he's rather easy to debate for.

IMO Surfer wins here but with that feat i understand that he had to split his time tween 3 heroes (havent seen the feat just saw that you guys were saying he did it in one panel) whereas here he has time to spend on just Surfer. So is Surfer Durabilty => Hal, Supes & Booster or =< Hal, Supes & Booster?
