Ugh I cannot stand custom Roms.

I love the iPad, but the mini just doesn't do it for me. I may get the next iPad when it comes out, the reduced bezel and smaller frame look good.

I liked Cyanogen, at least when I last used it like 3 years ago. Maybe I can put stock Android on as well. Deffo not gonna use TouchWiz for long, **** that noise.

I'm very happy with the iPad Mini, but I'm also torn, the new iPad with the smaller form factor and reduced weight might be enough movement towards what I like about the iPad Mini that I'll get that instead.

Nice.

I'm really hoping we get new Pros at the Sept event. I want a 13 inch Retina (and so does Sarah). But I fear we might have to wait till Oct.

Still unsure about whether to get the new iPhone, the new large or small iPad, and the Nexus 5 or my dad's Galaxy S4...tough choices ahead of me.

She looks like it.

I'm going to sell my old macbook for some coin, it's still in good shape, though it is a 2011 model. I still want to sell my iMac but its holding some of my important info, and I'm too lazy to get an external hard drive. And my cloud service is about to expire, and I don't want to spend another $200 for another year.

I'm sounding cheap.

Sounding cheap is quite an achievement when talking about buying Macs. Kudos.

I got a 2009 iMac, but I hardly use it, don't really need it, but it looks awesome. And I guess sometimes I go on it or something. What cloud service do you use to back up?

Hmm never thought of Macs as expensive I guess.

I have a cloud service account with RackSpace. My cousin works there and she got me a free account for a year in 2011, and when my free year was up I paid for another year. I might try carbonite, but I'm not sure.

Well, it's the common stereotype about Apple products.

I use Crashplan, I'm pretty happy with them, though I didn't need to use them in an emergency yet. At any rate, you shouldn't use backup solutions to port stuff from your Mac to a new place, get an external hard drive, don't be so lazy!!!

I had a back up, but it suffered from some heat damage when my ex-wife left it in a storage unit for the entire summer.

Now I can't get jack shit off of it, and there was some important stuff about my financials and last will and testament. I'm pretty sure I'll have to rewrite most of what was in this documents.

Oh man, that sucks dude. I'd have left my wife too if she did that to me...

But that's why you need redundant and off site backup. Like, my set up (once I am unlazy enough to set it up) is going to be have all my original documents in Dropbox (crappy Backup but better than nothing), Time Machine backup on a NAS, and offsite, online backup with CrashPlan. Then I'll feel pretty safe I think. I just want to feel safe!!!!
