Yeah, Ares was the real God of War in that mini.

Aquaman has really gone up in the straight up strength and durability department. In trinity war he was doing stuff like shrugging off sucker punches from J'onn and shit. What he did to Ocean Master was ****ing ridiculous in damage soak and power.

I think, Aquaman is more consistent at this point (Benefits of a strong editorial hierarchy I guess) but Ares is still just better so I guess my opinion hasn't really changed. srug

Yes, Aquaman was compared to the strong men of DCnU. Ares was compared to Thor (we need a Thor/Wolverine on our team), was fighting alongside Hercules (who, for all his goofiness, is legit strong) and fought Skaar pretty well.

Times have changed. Aquaman is more consistent across the board. He wins. Adding his trident makes it even more in his favor, IMO.

LOL, so is there any actual REASON for AM getting stronger, or just because? Those crazy DC (Damn Clones) Editors, get closer to Superman, but doesn't go over.
