People really don't know who Etrigan is, do they? The guy goes toe to toe with people like superman, wonder woman, Lobo and is one of the most powerful sorcerers in DC and people keep him pairing with spidey villains? I'm going to make a respect thread for him soon.

Etrigan is a top tier mage, he usually just doesn't use that type power.

Etrigan would beat Marvel Sandman, and then he'd go beat up DC Sandman to make sure he covered all his bases.

Well for the latter he would probably be bold enough to try at least, after all he had the balls to try to take on Lucifer Morningstar (although Lucifer trolled him terribly).

More like he played along with Etrigan's plot to take over Hell, and let Etrigan capture him, but then got bored, called Etrigan a loser and dissed his plans, then broke free of his restrains and flew away, despite Etrigan trying to attack him with hellfire (which did nothing).

Ah, I was thinking new 52. He would have been annihilated had he repeated that against new Lucifer.
