Zeus' magic has a particular effect on Hulk, it's mentioned post and pre Hulk - Zeus "fight".

The mechano-Betty-birds had some Zeus magic in them too, and Hulk had to be careful in dealing with them, iirc.

Anyway, that whole fight was an anticlimax. A non-fight, with Zeus in a rage at the impudence of a "mortal" and Hulk in a completely nonsensical sacrifice play to "cure" his family - after spending the better part of two arcs teaching himself that "Hulk" wasn't some sort of a problem/disease but a source of moral strength as well as physical strength.

Aaron's follow-on run demonstrated that latter point again, by showing how insecure and neurotic Banner would have been, had he not had The Hulk to prop up his ego.

Clearly sentiment is all that keeps you from admitting to yourself the truth that there is only One True Bruce. And he does not dress up his underage boy chum in bright yellow, red, green and black attire.

Yeah, it was like he was trying to emulate Loeb, but ended up just being silly.

I honestly feel like the last great work he did was Hercules and Planet Hulk.

I thought everyone already knew that Zeus used magic to make sure Hulk's wounds didn't heal?

It doesn't really change the fight that much. Zeus knocked him out, and the lightning made sure that once Hulk got his senses, he'd stay injured for the vultures.

Did he? I didn't see any mention of that. Not to mention hulk was badly hurt internally in the fight against zeus and was not healing as rapidly as against Zom strange.

They mention later that he wounds he suffered against Zeus wouldn't heal as fast?

I don't think it impacted the actual fight, as Hulk was just straight up knocked out, but it's definitely what kept Hulk down after.

Hulk wounds didn't heal period...even when Zeus hit him with the lightning in the beginning of their encounter. Those same injuries didn't heal, at all. Pretty obvious it was more at play than Zeus fist.

Because he got the HF beat out of him not that zeus somehow messed up his HF. It was so severe of a beating that he wasn't healing for several issues. Surely if Zeus messed up his HF its effect should've been erased after he got free from those chains, right?

And what about when he wasn't healing in savage land?

LMFAO at the perpetual cognitive dissonance with regard the the Zeus beating. Hulk got socked out by a damn skyfather. Pak tossed Hulk fans a bone in that interview to soothe the arse hurt.
