Anyway, glad to hear it's great.

Just got back from seeing it, it was a great movie.

Saw this last night. Well done. It's easily a top 3 Marvel Studios film along with The Avengers and Iron Man.

Will probably catch a second viewing soon and might post more then.

That first fight between Cap and Winter. One of my favorites in cinema.

absolutely the best comic book movie minus the avengers in years.

Winter soldier is a badass

I was pretty satisfied with the film. I ended up kind of zoning out for most of the plot-points, but I really appreciated how good the characterization of everyone involved in the film was; not a single bad/annoying character to be seen.

Also, dat initial fight scene between Cap and Winter Soldier. Ah... my goodness. Take notes, Nolan. Take notes, Snyder. That's what a well-choreographed fight scene ****ing looks like.

I liked that fight he had with that maniac on the ship as well, that dude but up a pretty damn good fight.

Yeah.

The villains were decently competent, despite the fact that they lost almost every fight at every turn.

Once I saw him put up a good fight at the beginning I knew he had some serious work for him coming.

That's what happens when villains face an interracial power-couple.

Well, I arrived later than I usually like to and got a crap seat way up at the front, so as far as the visuals and fight scenes, I had a hard time judging all that, BUT I actually did really enjoy the movie a lot more than I expected. Especially since I didn't really like the first film much. This was quite well done, well paced... some good humor. It was definitely a good mixture of oldschool and newschool action elements. Also, it seemed pretty cynical, which I liked...

Spoiler:
...S.H.I.E.L.D. being compromised and Capt. America, Black Widow, and Fury basically having to go rogue.
That was cool.

I'll admit it used to suck but MAoS had really gotten good. Watch the last episode, then try and tell me you want it canceled. Seriously, MAOS is arrow quality now.

Something else about this film, is that it made me actually like Captain America a bit.

I've always found his comic book incarnation to be very dull and a bit of a Gary Stu. His cinematic version seems a lot more... human.

edit- And also lacking of a jobber aura.
