i Dont know why since the announcement of an Agents of shield TV show people were so confused and got the wrong impression of what the show would be.
I seriously dont know how a show called AGENTS of shield could be confused for MARVEL SUPER HEROES. Meaning that people automatically thought that it was a show about Marvel super heroes. When it was never suppose to be that and it was never promoted to be that.
Its not the shows fault people made that mistake.
Of coarse the show would include some for of powered being from time to time, or hints at tthings happening in the MU, but thats it.
LOL @ wanting mini avengers every week from a show that is not suppose to be that.
Thats why you cant really compare AOS 100% to a show like arrow, because that show is actually about a Hero as the main attration.
I never said I wanted a super hero to show up every episode. It would definitely benefit, though. lol

Yes but it was easy for AOS to get picked up by a larger network because of the automatic audience they get being part of the shared MCU.
Arrow is a much better show than AOS but won't match it commercially because...Well... The shared universe thing does well commercially.
I think expecting Hulk or Iron Man to even appear once in AOS is asking far too much, and doesn't really make sense.

As for why I personally don't want the cw stuff to carry over to the movies? Simple: I don't like that version of Green Arrow, and Flash needs to be more experienced before joining the Justice League.
The JLA isn't the X-Men; these people don't grow up together. They're already bonafide heroes when they come together, and they become a family afterwards.

There was never much chance of a larger network picking it up.Something like Gotham on the other hand would be much more likely because it has the copyrights of Batman attached.
Fact is Associations with bigger brands go a long way.
Isnt NBC a biiger network than ABC? NBC picked up Constantine. A unknown character than Green Arrow.

So why is Arrow on such a small Network then? Smallville was also on CW but had a lot more viewers at it's peak than what AOS is currently on. So I'm not buying the smaller Network thing as a Justified excuse for why Arrow gets less viewers than AOS. It gets less viewers because it can't compete against the Marvel Brand.
Look Marvel has successfully amalgamated and planned everything. Solo movies with team up movies with tv series. And they've just been Massively successful. No other studio can compete in the Superhero genre. And they are still carrying out this formula with all their new Netflix series, pretty much guaranteeing those series will have followers as well.
So it is frustrating to see WB having like 4-5 different DC Universes between the big and small screen, and not really getting anywhere even close to the level of Marvel.

Smallville, at it's peak, wasn't on the CW... Anyway, the fact that the Arrow is the most successful show on the CW straight up shows that the CW is a vastly smaller network than AoS.

I'm not denying that it's a smaller network. I'm saying AOS has more viewers because it's part of the Marvel brand and not just because it was somehow lucky to be on a larger network.
Anyway we will see with all the new Marvel and DC Tv series being released which are more commercially successful. My guess is it will be Marvel with the mega success of their Shared Universe formula.
And I really doubt DC having all these separate Universes is going to somehow amp the quality of their shows.
That being said, Arrow is a far superior show to AOS.

Nah, I prefer them being separate for the most part. A good story is a good story.
COULD IT BE?!!
The Deadline founder launched her eponymous website today with a purported development slate that, while characterized as "in flux," certainly qualifies as ambitious: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (May 2016); "Shazam" (July 2016); "The Sandman" (Christmas 2016); "Justice League" (May 2017); "Wonder Woman" (July 2017); a Flash and Green Lantern team-up (Christmas 2017); and "Man of Steel 2" (May 2018).
If so, I TOLD YOU!
