It's definitely an improvement over Nolan's, IMO. It's similar, but better.

Off topic, but I can't wait to see Gone Girl. Supposedly, Ben is so good, he might get an Oscar nomination. Reviews have been awesome so far.

^ I still don't rate Ben as an actor and think he's a definite step down from Bale. I think they've got him as Batman to get him more involved in the DCCU since he's become such a great Director but turned down the opportunity to direct JL a couple of years back.

And look at the result. The BvS got a script rewrite from Terrio who wrote Affleck's own Oscar winning film.

You don't rate Ben? What do you mean? He's a legit actor that's one of the front runners to be nominated. People are saying this is the film of the year. He's been in other good movies before Gone Girl, too.

Ben's a good actor, just not Oscar good. Bale was Oscar good. As a director though, he's awesome.

Looks like Gone Girl is going to change that around. Obviously not a guarantee, but reviews have him as a possible nod. Along with Fincher as director.

Loved it. I still haven't seen the original, so I don't have any comparisons, but Fincher's version was awesome.

Have to say, them casting Ben in hopes that he'd direct the next Batman franchise...is a pretty damn good idea. He's probably one of the few directors who are good enough to rival the last Batman trilogy.

Thinking the same thing. I'd be really disappointed if he doesn't direct at least one movie. Ben is one of the best directors out there.
