If DC gets Gosling then they're going to piss ALL OVER Marvel.
Marvel has like one and a half talented actor.
If DC swoops Gosling, Hardy and Afleck keeps up his recent form then their universe is going to be off charts.
It might not challenge the Marvel box office, but nobody outside of America cares about box office.

I doubt Gosling will join either side. There is always a possibility for either, but he's not the sequel/franchise type.
WB already snagged The Rock and Mamoa. Those were big as they have growing fan base.

Well we don't know Marvel's full slate. They might already have a Ms Marvel film planned for the same year. They certainly seemed to be hinting they were going to do a female hero film soon.
BUt to be fair, it's harder for Marvel as they don't have a female lead any where near as famous as Wonder Woman. And it's really about time WB gave us WW.

Nah, all depends how they fit.
DC had Ryan Reynolds playing GL, but it was a bad fit (as well as a bad movie). Reynolds playing Deadpool however was a great fit.

I think domestic is more important in terms of "profit" because the Theaters take a very small cut domestically, but a much larger cut internationally.

I'm pretty sure he did know Clark had the Codex, or at least knew where it was.
And he killed Jor-el abput 2 seconds after an intense battle. It's not like he sat around plotting his vengeance for years. He was pissed in the moment, true, but that's not the same as having a "vendetta" nor was it his reasoning for seeking Kal or attempting to terraform Earth.
Momoa isn't a terrible actor. He just doesn't look like Aquaman, and that's a problem, imo.
