If WB wants a comedic superhero, then they should make a Plastic Man movie. Flash doesn't need to be a comedy.

Nah, he's better being comedic/light hearted, imo. A dark, gritty Flash might not be all that great.

he doesn't have to be dark and gritty if he's not light hearted.

wally in the comics was right in the middle, and he did fine.

^ Yes there is a middle line in between Comedic and Dark/Gritty.

You don't have to be one or the other Lol.

They should just make it with Wally West. Barry Allen's story is pretty much rooted in tragedy and he just copes. The TV show is doing Barry's story justice. And there is no way that Erza Miller guy they cast is a Barry Allen.

Kind of like marvel struck a good balance between comedy and grit for the Captain America movies

Batman v. Superman: Damn of Justice is going to be very comedic 😄

Yeah, just because Miller is doing this doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be 21 jump street comedy. They could very well balance out the drama aspect as well as a light hearted tone, which is what it should be. A gritty, Dark flash could work, but I prefer a balance for the Flash.

That's how it should be. Perfect example.

James Wan is one of the frontrunners for directing Aquaman!

Meh.

Don't like Wan? I think he's a solid director. I've pretty much liked everything he's done sans Dead Silence.

The Conjuring was decent. Haven't liked anything else I've seen him do.

You didn't like Saw?

Nope.

He also did the latest Fast & Furious movie, But i'm sure those movies aren't your cup of tea.

He's okay, I guess.

He does a good job of doing big action set pieces.

I think he's pretty good with atmosphere. I'm a huge horror fan, so...
