So as I stated before., if marvel made a sentry movie that used an origin story similar to Superman's, You'll be totally fine with that right since my point is nonsense?

No, because Superman's origin was (at least initially) unique. The advanced alien=gods, however, is a very common trope in Sci-fi that has been around long before Thor's movie. Now if DC copied one of Marvel unique origins (like say Spider-man's) I would find that problematic, but using a trope that's been around for decades that wasn't created by Marvel... Nope, not seeing the problem at all.

So a baby/child coming from another world/land , and being raised as by parents of different origin/race/breed(etc) is unique to superman ?

Anyhow let's agree to disagree 🙂

No.

his home planet being destroyed and him coming to earth as a baby and he gets his powers from the sun, etc.

But this is (or at least was).

Because Marvel was the first to come up with the idea that gods=advanced aliens. am I rite?

That's what I'm saying. I'm sure Snyder has his own vision on WW and not a complete copy of Thor. There is nothing to suggest it's an EXACT copy.

Well I said similar . also since they will both are super powered beings, even if you take away the power from the sun and planet being destroyed and replaced it with civilization dying, the audience and us comic fans will see the similarities and the studio's laziness in going this route.

The comic fans are a very small majority. Which is why Marvel screwed with the Mandarin's origin. Sure, it pissed off a lot of comic fans, but the GA didn't care or knew.

Perhaps. Depending on how it's handled, I really wouldn't care.

That's the thing I don't think he had his own vision. I think he saw what marvel did with Thor and how well it turned out that he might have been inspired to follow a similar route.
Since ww and Thor are sort of similar in some ways this will work fine for wonder woman as well and will fit in nicely in their movie.
I'm just saying it's lazy and uncreative in WB/dc part.

Im not a fan of iron 3. It's the worst MCU movie for me.

I like it better than Thor TDW and Iron Man 2. 😛

I agree with that too. It's definitely the worst of the MCU thus far.

Even worse than Hulk and IM 2?!

What hulk? I dont consider ang lee hulk to be MCU ...but

angleeHulk<IM3
NortonHulk>IM3
IM2 > im3

IMO

The Ang Lee Hulk is not part of the MCU, so I don't even rank that piece of crap. I definitely like The Incredible Hulk, with Norton, better than Iron Man 3, though. I think it's underrated, but it was definitely integral to the advancement of the MCU. It introduced the Super Soldier Serum and it foreshadowed military distrust. Iron Man 2 advanced Fury's attempt to put together The Avengers, it showed some of Howard Stark's history and introduced Black Widow. It just seemed like Favreau was more in tuned with directing those films than Shane Black... plus the Mandarin thing sucked. Just my opinions.

Sorry, this is the wrong thread to get into this, LOL.

I doubt that's what he was thinking at all (assuming it's true). More likely he thought "if we're going to introduce Wonder Woman in MOS2, then it will be much easier making her part of an immortal alien race like Superman. Especially if we want to keep with this grounded tone we began with MOS1."

I dont know if im explaining my point correctly.
The point im making is that don't the people in charge of wb/dc pay attention to whats going on in the film industry? They have to know about the MCU and what goes on in those movies.
Maybe they dont. I mean they had to know that marvel had that may 2016 day reserved for one of their movies before they decided to claim that day as well right?
Its clear that they are doing all these things on purpose and to cause friction between the 2 studios. I don't think they are blindly making these decisions thinking that this is the best way to do things that is best for their movie universe.

Marvel has retconned that and revealed the one true Mandarin actually exists and his organization kidnapped Ben Kingsley's character in "Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King"

I like the batsuit. And the batmobile. I trust from how Snyder has seemed in interviews that he won't make Superman job too much, so I'm not that worried about it being too much like DKR.

As far as the Diana thing goes? Honestly, the whole "Gods that were really advanced aliens with advanced tech" thing is not a new idea, and has been done before. Most recently in Thor, sure (and people seemed to have no problem with that), but there are tons of other instances (like Stargate and Star Trek's various episodes) for starters.

Them being

Spoiler:
New Gods
, if it is true, is interesting, but seriously, what? You wanted her to be made out of clay? That's what people would prefer the origin to be?
