Not really. Besides some questionable character development scenes that only really bother people because of prior history of the character, the film was rather fantastic. Felt less like a comic book film and more like a sci film epic about the ultimate alien invasion. The tension was great and as Void noted, the massive power levels really made this feel like a comic book translated rather than adapted to the big screen. The film really made Supes look like the ultimate good guy taking out the ultimate threat to humanity. The visuals were very creative and awe-inspiring and the score was amazing. It had all the grandeur a Superman movie deserves IMO. Definitely one of the all time best superhero and arguably sci film films I have ever seen.

The funny thing is your so easy to please. DC can please you the same way things please a child or tween. Big explosions, destruction, muscular men lifting and punching things etc etc.
anyhow. DC can get smart and NOT have another strong brick as a villain, but i doubt that will happen. Or maybe use another angle.
I hope they wont lazily use doomsday or bizzaro, orion, kalibak even DS as villains. Its going to be the same type of fights as MOS that V01D has orgasms over. strong Bricks vs. bricks punching each other destroying things. Rinse repeat.
But I guess some only care about how good the feats are for their favorite characters when determining the quality of a film.
I hope for Parasite, hell i would like Starro but that never gonna happen, i would leave the bricks for Justice League or MoS2.
The only thing i know is gonna be a lot better than avengers 2 in the action department who is shaping to be another good guys vs countless of goons (replace aliens with robots now) type of fight.

They are different movies/angles though. MoS focused more on the invasion with lots of backstory and deep, deep personal ties to Superman.
Avengers Chitauri were just there to put the Avengers together.
I love both. None is perfect.
